Hotel’s location to restaurants, attractions and Charleston was very convenient. Only minutes away from each.

Hotel was clean, quiet, had a nice pool and a good variety of choices at breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was my first time staying at a SpringHill Suites but it definitely will not be my last. The rooms were so spacious, including the bathroom. It was very clean, the staff was so friendly, breakfast was great. I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel.

The hotel, rooms and breakfast were very nice. The only bad experience was the front desk staff. At check in no one was at the desk. One guest said she had been waiting 27 minutes for someone to show up. When a staff person finally showed up she was brusque and seemed put out she had to do the job and…..there was no apology for the wait. In my 3 days at this hotel only one lady was pleasant and smiling with a good attitude. Once I wanted to ask a question and the desk person never looked up or acknowledged my presence so I just walked away. Customer service training certainly is needed in this area. On the other hand, the staff member at the breakfast counter was very friendly and greeted us every morning with a smile and a greeting. Maybe the front desk staff could take lessons from her. You have a lovely hotel and it is a shame to have a first impressions marred by poor attitudes.

The Travelzoo booking price was $109/night (plus tax) but the hotel charged me $129/night plus taxes. When I questioned them they argued with me even though I showed them the booking receipt. Very disappointing as I have been a Marriott business customer for over 20 years.

The only thing I have a complaint was the attention to detail with housekeeping. Garbage and dirty lines were left in the hall over night and when mentioned to the front desk staff the response was not very responsive .

I thought the hotel was in an excellent location. And easy to get to. Lots of excellent restaurants near the hotel and many things to do. Also, very close to Charleston

The staff were very pleasant and helpful when we checked in and when we checked out. Our room was clean, beautiful and enjoyable to stay in. All our activities were easy to get to from this hotel, and we would surely consider going back there again!

Front desk staff were basically unhappy people! Never was told rooms aren’t cleaned daily. Had issues with shower leaking into bathroom. Used all the towels. Never fixed problems and had no towels. Air conditioner pointed directly into bed.

Hotel is a 2 mile drive from downtown Charleston. Area appears safe and hotel rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Would use this hotel again in the future.

The room was large and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is minutes away from several points of interest. You would have to drive or Uber, but the trips are short. The breakfast at the hotel was a nice feature. For other meals, there are at least 62 dining options in Mt. Pleasant. The night clerk, Brittany, gave us several suggestions for dining where the locals go, and they were excellent. We would stay there again!

Room are very uncomfortable, the layout is bad, room had a sweaty smell when we walked inside…sofa was UNBELIEVABLE DIRTY, spots everywhere…bed was just ok and not extra pillows for guests…breakfast just horrible compared with other “complementary breakfast” hotels…

It was about 15-20 minutes from downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly and our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good with many different options. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice! Just one real problem-PLEASE PLEASE cover the large glass bathroom door with anything! to prevent the very bright light from shining into the bedroom! The bed is right outside this door & if someone is in bed trying to sleep, the light from the bathroom is blinding! NOT a pleasant experience when trying to sleep!! MOST annoying! Probably won’t stay there again because of that. Otherwise, a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful employees.
The designers of this arrangement should be made to spend a night or two in a room with this design & see how they like it. Fine for single parties, but not for two or more. Very thoughtless arrangement to me.
