An Inside Look at Oklahoma City's 21c Museum Hotel
Contemporary art museum meets boutique hotel meets trendy SoHo loft ... That's what you get at the 21c Oklahoma City. The acclaimed property is situated in an old Ford Motor Company assembly plant and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Through the creative work of New York City-based architecture firm Deborah Berke Partners, the historic building has been restored to become one of the best new hotels in the world, according to Travel + Leisure.
Here is an inside look at the famed hotel and an exclusive Travelzoo member-only deal.
From the moment you walk in the door, you'll gain a sense of the museumlike qualities of the boutique hotel. The front desk resembles a ticket counter and features several pieces of modern art.

The museum hotel houses over 14,000 square feet of exhibition space. The exhibitions rotate throughout the year and showcase a mix of contemporary art and site-specific installations.

One such site-specific installation is titled “You Always Leave Me Wanting More.” While the arrows do not serve any directional purpose, they are intended to provoke thought among guests and visitors alike.

Another site-specific installation, “River of Time,” pays homage to the building's history as an assembly plant. The work of art uses conveyor belts and acrylic panels to create the essence of a flowing river.
At 21c, artistic vision can be found in the cuisine as well. Executive chef Jason Campbell puts a creative spin on seasonal and regional flavors at the hotel's in-house restaurant, Mary Eddy's Kitchen x Lounge.

Mary Eddy's is situated in the original Model T showroom space. The area combines elements of the building's original structure with more modern components.

The restaurant and lounge are immensely popular among the locals, which gives both a lively energy that can be felt on any night during the week.

The hotel's museumlike qualities also extend to the guest rooms. The crisp white linens, high ceilings and large windows mirror the contemporary design that can be found throughout the rest of the hotel.

Now through March 31, you can stay for $129 per night with this exclusive 40%-off deal and save on upgraded One-Bedroom Luxury Loft Suites.
