Great location and atmosphere. Rooms are small but nice.

Would prefer something other than instant coffee in the rooms

We got a great deal. It’s an older hotel. Very clean, great location and their breakfast is as delicious! We definitely stay again.

I really liked how close it was to Union station and the subway station. The lobby decor was elegant and inviting.

My room was street facing on the second floor right beside the elevator. Upon checking into my room I noticed how loud not only the street was (Yonge St.) but also the elevator (beeping at every floor). The two sounds combined made it rather noisy. I never do this but I went back to front desk to ask to move rooms, I was told while I could move up a level, all the Travelzoo rooms were street facing and beside the elevator - which would have been nice to know when purchasing this deal (worst rooms available). I also was told by staff that the coffee and danish that were included in the package deal was for “only one day”, I had to show them where it said “daily” on the package deal - I was still questioned and told they would have to speak with management first - this fuss was all made over my request for a single drip small coffee. The TV’s also didn’t work properly, one night I was able to log into my Disney channel, the next night it would just go to black screen, there were no streaming services or cable channels offered by the hotel.

We both had a wonderful stay at the Victoria hotel. Very central to many tourist attractions. Had a very enjoyable two night stay at the hotel and also learned a little bit about the history of the hotel . We will definitely return maybe in the summer

We had breakfast in the two little rooms just inside the main entrance, Very enjoyable. The windows at the front could do with a cleaning to let more sunshine in.

Great downtown location right on Yonge St. Walking distance to Union Station, the Theatre District, St. Lawrence Market and the Eaton Centre, as well as numerous eateries for all price ranges. The staff (Aisha) were extremely helpful in making our stay the best it could be. A wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the downtown core of Toronto.
Other Comments
As mentioned, the staff, particularly Aisha at the front desk were extremely helpful in making our stay the best it could be. The breakfast provided with this deal was basic, but the coffee was excellent and the pastries were delicious, both enjoyed at their bar.

We were 4 senior ladies from rural eastern Ontario, needing a 'night on the town'. We had a great time on our City of Toronto adventure, and the Hotel Victoria was our launching pad. It makes so much sense for us to park in Oshawa and take the Go train in to Union. The hotel is an easy walk from there to the front door, where we found a welcoming, fun and easy atmosphere and professional, friendly staff. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and we appreciated the separate beds....very clever in our opinion, as not all travellers are couples.
Other Comments
The history of this unique hotel is evident in the decor and layout of the hotel. The rooms are small, fairly basic, and a little dark, due to the skyrise buildings build beside it. However, as I said, they are comfortable and you cannot beat the location for enjoying downtown Toronto. The breakfast was good and interesting with it's Lebanese type menu, and great coffee. Thank you Travelzoo for offering this opportunity to experience this special hotel including the food discount. We will recommend this place to others for sure!

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast delicious and very different. Room was a bit small, as was the washroom space. Room could have used a chair and a coffee maker. But overall, an excellent stay.

Unbeatable location for arrivals by train. Rooms are a bit spartan; a chair and perhaps a second luggage rack would help. Rooms are clean but could use better soundproofing.

The stay was spectacular, new renovations and the bar addition to the Mossop was a delight. The room had white light and can use a more yellow tone to set the mood.
