Why We Love This Hotel

  • Previously a 1950s brick apartment building, The Anndore House relaunched in 2018 with historical accents and modern comforts
  • Each of the 115 industrially-designed rooms has a rainforest shower, plush leather club chairs and a record player with a curated selection of LPs
  • Local favourite Crows Nest barbershop, born out of the city’s beloved Kensington Market, is located right inside the hotel
  • On-site Constantine restaurant focuses on the cuisine of distinct regions in the Mediterranean
  • Its casual counterpart, Scarlet Door café, serves the daytime crowd with unique coffees and pastries—the interior is designed to give a nod to the punk and new wave scenes that defined the neighbourhood in the 1970s and 1980s
  • The hotel is steps away from the bright lights of Yonge and Bloor, and a short walk from galleries, theatres, shops and nightlife—the full-service guest experience team will happily suggest what to see and do in the area

A nice surprise. Staff were all delightful. The added bonus of a free cocktail at the bar was a great way to take in the ambience of the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. However, the heating unit could run quieter. We often turned it off as the noise was irritating. Overall a great experience.

Fantastic stay! Perfect location with many amenities and shopping close by. Room was very clean, spacious and the decor was so fun! We enjoyed the record player and the cozy hooded bathrobes. It felt like our own little apartment. The included cocktails were bang on! My only suggestion would be to secure a parking discount in one of the nearby lots. We will definitely return! Highly recommended.

The room and hotel itself is very nicely decorated and the photos attracted me to the hotel. Staff at reception were very polite

Location is south of Bloor which is near Yorkville but definitely not in it. Beside this hotel is a vacant building which is boarded up. Vagrants have made the vacant building their home and therefore are hanging around the entrance to the hotel. This made me very uncomfortable and I didn’t feel safe going leaving and entering the hotel at night. I recommend staying a few blocks north in proper Yorkville area it’s worth paying the extra money to stay in a safer location

I am a middle age independent female traveler that went to Toronto to take an art class. I loved the Annadore hotel itself the minute I stepped in. The hotel workers were lovely and the room was very urban trendy; The only problem is that part of the neighborhood is somewhat sketch and I did not feel comfortable walking down the street by myself to the hotel after dark.

While the room decor was amazing, the fan in the room blows so loud that you can't hear the TV. The TV volume is controlled so you can't increase the volume. You have to choose what you want more, TV or cool air. The restaurant/bar was great and staff were very friendly. I would recommend the hotel with caveats.

The staff and the hotel were really great. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Location was great but unfortunately there was construction so around the hotel so a little hard to navigate but obviously not their fault. Didn’t try the restaurant but it looked gorgeous.
