It felt like such a good value! The free breakfast was amazing. The staff were all friendly. The pool area was great. The only thing I didn’t care for was that our room was not very clean - dusty and hairs in the bed. But I called the front desk and they sent someone right away to change the sheets and I didn’t mind wiping down the dust. Overall it was still really great.

A really clean and well looked after hotel! Our room was large, spotless, and had a great bed! It would be nice if bottle water was provided in the room as I am not liking drinking softened water which most commercial properties have. In saying that though I will say the "tap" water was cold and tasted good!

We stayed at this hotel because it was in Canmore. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel very much. The complementary breakfast was very good. Having cookies and hot chocolate served in the lobby is very sweet. We had a room on the first floor and in the future would not want to be on the first floor again. as we were in mountains, we were happy that we were able to open up our curtains to the room and see the mountains. Unfortunately, we only had a view of the side of somebody’s car. No Mountain View. If we were to go back we would not want to be on the first floor again. For those planning a trip to stay at the Pocaterra, be aware there’s lots of families with small kids. And although I see that as an attraction for families because of the swimming pool, for older solo or couples vacationers, we may have chosen a different hotel, possibly. Knowing this now. Otherwise our stay was quite enjoyable at the hotel. We would recommend this to friends.

The Travelzoo special at the Pocaterra Inn was extremely good value. We used the 2 for 1 appetizer voucher and had dinner at the Iron Goat Pub and Restaurant, and we enjoyed the bottle of wine that was part of the package as well. All in all the entire package provided was extremely good value.

If I had any suggestions for the Pocaterra Inn it would be to upgrade their Internet service as it cut in and out repeatedly, and to provide a better cable package.

The wooden chairs in the rooms are looking a little shabby and the breakfasts this year were not up to the same calibre as previous visits. Other than that we enjoyed a great few days. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable.

The pool and waterside were great! Loved the location and service. Rooms were dated and well lived in, but clean. A few upgrades/fixes to the rooms would go a long way. We brought our own pillows after reading comments from other guests and were very glad we did. Breakfast was great. We traveled with our dog and would have liked to have been able to bring our breakfast up to our room so we could all eat together rather than in shifts so someone could stay with our pup at all times as the hotel requests. That also would have been a nice option as the breakfast room lacked seating to accommodate all the guests and was very loud.

Was a really great hotel! Kids enjoyed the pool and Waterslide. Breakfast was awesome! Views were great. Our room was a little cold as the heater wasn’t quite working properly but the fireplace made up for it :) also wifi connection was a little slow as well.

Have stayed at the Pocaterra a number of times. Always pleased overall. Staff friendly. Rooms clean. A bit disappointed this time when our service dog was not allowed to be in the pool area which is against the Service Dogs Act in Alberta which could make the Inn subject to a serious fine. We encourage the management to review the law on this matter.

We sincerely appreciate having a complimentary breakfast provided but PLEASE do something about the hash browns. With every time we have stayed at the Inn the hash browns are dry and hard .....we repeatedly see guests throwing them in the garbage bin.
