Why We Love This Hotel

  • Situated between Campbell River and the mountains, it's right next to the 18-hole Campbell River Golf Club; it's also a 10-minute drive from Elk Falls Provincial Park, renowned for its old-growth forests and extensive network of hiking trails
  • The resort opened in May 2024 with 100 guestrooms, making it all the more serene—expect "weighty timbers [that] beckon visitors inside to a sophisticated interior with nods to the community’s location between forest and sea" (Monday Magazine)
  • Rooms have Nespresso machines, fridges and twice-daily housekeeping
  • It has a fitness centre, virtual driving range and an outdoor patio with fire tables and full bar service
  • Along with treatments, the spa has mineral pools and shower experiences; there's also an indoor pool, sauna and outdoor hot tub and pool
  • Enjoy a steak at Carve Kitchen + Meatery or a more casual meal (and 18 holes) at Velocity Lounge & Driving Range
  • This resort loves dogs; they offer dog beds, water bowls and a dog-washing station for your furry friends (upon request)

The only negative we had was upon arrival, an infuser was working in the lobby and my wife had an allergic reaction to it. The staff showed concern and removed it right away and it was not turned on for the duration of our stay. The attention to detail, friendliness of the staff, quality of the food and layout of the property made our stay memorable and we definitely will be back.

It feels as if the staff are new and just reading from a training manual. When we got to our room we could hear a dog barking constantly. I went to the front desk to advise and the response was “Floor 2 is not a dog floor, dogs are on Floor 3”. I indicated that the dog must be in a room above/near us. The woman just kept repeating that Floor 2 was not a dog floor. When the dog didn’t stop barking and I called the front desk they eventually checked it out, found the dog was in the room above us and finally moved us to a different floor.

Naturally Pacific Resort was fantastic. Beautiful grounds to walk or sit by. Rooms were excellent. Loved that they had a mini couch and table not just beds. Great amenities such as the pool, sauna, steam room and gym.

No grab bar to safely get out of the bath tub. Water pressure and heat uneven. No waste basket in bathroom area. Duvet to hot and use of blanket was a polyester again to hot. Did not get a good night sleep the two days there The showers in the Mineral bath again were uneven with pressure and heat. Made use of the mineral bath disappointing

Great hotel with amazing mountain and water views. The room was very comfortable. Complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch as it made going to the mineral spa convenient.

The rain shower and mineral spa was valued at $60 and was included with the Travelzoo deal. As a stand alone, definitely not worth $60 per person for 1 hour.
