Our new favourite hotel in Toronto. The staff was very friendly and the ease of parking the car with the valet was superb. We upgraded our room to the one bedroom suite and it was so nice and spacious for our two night stay. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the whole city. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Sutton Place in Toronto. We were there for just a one night staycation.
The hotel is in a great location in the Entertainment District, making it a good spot to explore the City and it’s attractions. The front desk staff greeted us warmly and gave us an upgrade. Our room was ready when we arrived early which was great.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a one bedroom suite with a living room area and walk in closet. The beds were super comfortable.
I highly recommend the Sutton Place.

The staff were wonderful, answered all my questions. The suite was lovely, gorgeous bathroom with separate shower (huge) and a big sunken tub which I made use of! Lovely comfortable king sz bed. Coffee maker (a nespresso maker). The valet parking attendants could not have bee nicer. When they retrieved the vehicle when leaving, they had even turned on the seat heaters & the steering wheel heater. they put our luggage in the car and opened the door for me, very attentive.

Our room was not against any other rooms. 2 walls were outside walls, one was on the backside of the elevators (no noise) and the door opposite us in the hall, was stairs. So it was very quiet.

Beautiful Hotel! Rooms are very large and well appointed. Very comfortable beds. But what truly makes the Hotel, is its staff. Everyone we encountered was very friendly, always asking if they could assist with anything. Location of the hotel is perfect, especially as we were going to the theatre which was only a 4 minute walk.

My 15 year old granddaughter and I stayed at Sutton Place because we had tickets to see The Lion King at Mirvish theatre. It was perfect stay with a 4 minute walk to theatre. Hotel stay was excellent.

I was really impressed with the hotel. We were right in the heart of downtown, close to dozens of restaurants, theatres, ScotiaBank arena and much more. The staff was friendly and everyone from the valet to the front desk to the restaurant staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. We were very impressed by the stylish and spacious rooms, which appeared to be recently updated. The free parking was a big bonus. We’d definitely return, especially if Travelzoo was running the same promo!

Very dark, very small room that was overlooked by a large condo building and other hotel rooms. Armchair upholstery (arms especially) needed to be cleaned. Overall, not a space in which you would want to hang out.
Since I didn’t use the included parking voucher, I was hopeful that might help my chance of getting an upgraded room (also part of the offer, when available). This didn’t happen, unfortunately, although only a few hours earlier it was possible to book one of those rooms online.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. The first time we were upgraded to a larger room after complaining that we didn't like the first room. This time I asked for an upgraded room but didn't like it as much. The bed was in the center of the room which was a strange waste of space. It was a special 65th birthday celebration for my husband. They sent up two glasses of champagne and a dessert with a card which was a nice surprise. I loved the roof top pool. The water temperature is perfect. Not too cold, not to hot. Just perfect, no shock getting in.

I booked this as I had a holiday party downtown and live 1.5 hours away. It was a good deal and a nice okay for me time away from family responsibilities. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were big. My two issues were 1) I couldn’t adjust the heat in the room. It was set high for night, I usually sleep at 18 degrees, so I had trouble sleeping. The second issue was that I was put right beside the wing they are renovating so I woke up at 8 (after going to bed at 2 am) to a lot of noise. If my room was somewhere else, and I was able to work the heat, it would have been a perfect stay.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk staff. She was courteous and friendly and accommodated our request for a room on a higher floor. The room was modern, clean, spacious and quiet! Other than hearing the odd sound from the street and the occasional guest talking in the hallway, we didn't hear anything from the rooms next to us or above us. This deal was for a standard King room, so we were pleasantly surprized with the luxury items in the room such as robes, slippers, bottled water and a Nespresso! Other luxury hotels in the area don't offer these items in their 'standard' rooms. The location of this hotel is perfect, we can walk to most everything and there are transit stops very close by. We look forward to staying at this hotel again for our future trips to TO.

If driving, the valet parking is off Blue Jays Way heading north to King.

We wish that the hotel had hot tub and/or sauna/steam room facilities in its amenities. That would have been a great addition to the high quality and enjoyable experience.
As well, our room just had a shower and not a bathtub which I think we should have been asked/informed of on checkin. Had we known, we would have requested a room with a tub, if available. Otherwise a great weekend getaway. Will definitely recommend the hotel.

Attended the Royal winter fair. Hotel was very close to exhibition park. Able to walk easily to China down. Nice sized rooms. Very nice beds and linens. Valet parking was a nice bonus.

Nice boutique hotel, centrally located. Rooms are nicely decorated with very comfortable bed. The staff are extremely accommodating. The Travel Zoo deal was great, staying there later in the summer and paying almost twice the price.

The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff were lovely - attentive and helpful without being invasive. The hotel is in an excellent location for cafés, restaurants and attending NBA and MLB games (as we were). We were able to walk everywhere during our stay except for one day trip to NOTL. For this, the valet parking was quick and easy to use.

Very busy restaurant and bar scene downstairs on a Saturday night. Rooms are large and very well appointed. Super comfy bed. Great bathroom! Only complaint is that the door closers for the guest rooms make a very loud click when they close. And noise in the hallway is audible. If you need quiet when you sleep, ask for a room away from the elevators. Otherwise, great stay!

Located in the middle of everything Sutton Place Hotel offers a beautiful, fresh atmosphere and spaces and is close to all downtown events and venues. Rooftop pool is a beautiful bonus. Jon greeted us at the entry and took care of all our needs and inquiries through out our stay. Will definitely go back.

Visited for a Saturday night - great location in the entertainment district, lots of restaurants nearby, short walk to the theatre. Valet parking was convenient and we appreciated that we could leave our vehicle for a couple hours after check-out. There was a shortage of hot water in the morning, but staff were very apologetic and did their best to remedy the situation.

I brought this up to the front desk upon check-out. I'm not sure what what protocol is, but we had security knocking on our door at 11:42PM. I had the do not disturb sign on the door, but he would not leave until I came to the door. He said he was following up on reports of screaming from our room. 1. Before disturbing us he could have stood in the hallway to determine if there was any noise that required his intervention (there was not). 2. If he legitimately felt that a "wellness check" was warranted he should have insisted that all guests confirm everything was okay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sutton Place! It's a great location. The room was very nice and we enjoyed the pool as well. It was a great deal too for a two-night stay right in the heart of the Entertainment District. If the deal was offered again, we would definitely take advantage and try to book a show as well!

The only minor complaints were that there was no tea on offer in the room (only coffee) and the Google Chromecast to use streaming services wasn't working. Apart from those (again minor!) comments it was very nice!
