Quick and easy check-in! The room was very clean and amenities such as a bar fridge, bottled water, coffee/tea service in the room as well as a robe/slippers to use were very much appreciated! We had delicious oysters and appetizers at the bar in the evening and a huge selection of items at the buffet breakfast in the morning! It was close to several attractions within walking distance from the hotel as well which suited us as we didn't have to drive! Would not hesitate to recommend to friends/family!

Check in and checkout was very easy. Staff were helpful. My room was clean and well maintained. Nice shower with plenty of hot water to shower Many breakfast options and a very welcoming man greeting guests and helping with seating and serving coffee immediately when you arrive. My only complaint was that my eggs were cold .Asked for an important wake up call which was made and was helpful as I had forgotten my alarm clock.

Just wish I had better staff instructions about the parking access as you have to change elevators to get to the parking lot. This was made much easier as you use the elevators a couple of times.

Enjoyed the walkable location, friendly staff, very reasonable parking ($25 for 24 hours), well appointed, large room and free breakfast as a Travelzoo perk. The view was another building, our 11th floor room had a slight smell of chlorine (the pool was below us), some of the chairs weren’t comfortable but these are minor issues to us. We would definitely go back.

We had a very good stay at InterContinental Montreal. The classic king room we stayed at was very spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable that we were able to sleep through the night without waking up. Also the hotel was very quiet even though there were quite some guests. Buffet breakfast was top-notched with plenty of food choices and quality of food was above average. The only recommendation that I have is if the rooms may need some renovation to have brighter lighting and more modern furnishings.

The overall experience was great. The only downside was that the smoke alarm has a flashing green light and this bright flashing light kept us up at night. It was like have a strobe light in the room.

Breakfast was included but service left much to be desired. We were never offered a cup of coffee, no coffee cups were ever put on the table, not even a glass of water was offered. No water or coffee were available at the self-serve. So went went without. Couldn't flag a waiter either, they were rushed and avoided eye contact.

BTW - If you ask if there is coffeee in the morning, they will say yes... but that's only in the lobby from 4am ish until 6ish... then you have to get it from the dining room which is a very big hassle. They won't mention that there is a coffeee maker hidden in the room cabinet. There is.

loved our weekend there it was so close to Old Montreal we could walk everywhere. Our room was lovely albeit a tad stuffy even with ac and fan on. The breakfast was lovely and staff there were wonderful. the gym was a bonus. if you are a swimmer the pool is a tad small but lovely being on the roof. Nice to have a hotel bar as well. All in all it was so central we would definitely go back!!!

The Montreal Intercontinental is a lovely old style full service hotel. Our Classic King room was very spacious and well furnished with a comfortable bed and armchair, desk with upholstered chair, large bathroom with separate tub and shower, and every amenity one could need. All staff were friendly and helpful.We received a courtesy call each day to ensure everything met our expectations. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool was warm and clean with long swimming lanes and an outdoor lounging area attached. The location was perfect for exploring both Old Montreal and the shopping area on St Catherine by foot. We will definitely be back!

What a gorgeous lobby and elegant room! The staff were friendly and I really appreciated the breakfast inclusion - hearty food and excellent desserts. It was very easy to self-park. We could walk to the Old Port restaurants. The Intercontinental is easily the best place I've stayed in Montreal.

The staff were all absolutely lovely, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was fine, except for the one major problem - the mattress on the bed was old and uncomfortable. We would not go back and would not recommend the Intercontinental in Montreal to anyone unless we know they have replaced their mattresses.

Great location. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We are walkers and eveywhere was walkable for us. The King Classic room was big, you did not feel crowded. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel and rooms were very clean. Recommend highly!!

A great place to stay. The hotel is close to lots of major attractions. Getting around from the hotel is easy with a variety of transportation options. The rooms are equipped with the amenities you need. Staff are professional in both appearance and attitude. My stay was without any disruption or hassle. I look forward to my next stay.

A full service concierge is onsite. When I write "full service", I mean that they just don't hand you a map and say "you go there" and point to a spot on a piece of paper. Instead, I was escorted to the front of the hotel and explained exactly where it was that I needed to go. That's what makes it a full service.

Even though I was there only 7 years ago, I was a bit concerned about the upkeep as I read a few reviews about the decor being "dated " and rooms not that clean. I've visited numerous luxury hotels in the US and Europe over the years and did not find the rooms or the common areas dated - in fact I found the furnishings and design tasteful and relaxing.

Great location if you are spending time in old Montreal. Unfortunately the breakfast has now changed to buffet only, and the food was cold (both days and at different times of the morning). Service was excellent and so was the coffee. Easy self parking underground at the hotel. The hotel has refreshed the restaurant and some aspects of the lobby, but the rooms are now quite tired and in need of a total refresh ( carpet quite worn and old dark wallpaper). The rooms are quite dark with very low wattage led bulbs. Great room fridge, tv and safe to lock up valuables. So hits and misses here.

The parking is my main issue. If you self park you have to go to P9 and lower (underground), which is tedious at best. The upper floors are reserved for monthly and valet parking only.
There are NO in and out privileges. The true cost of self park is much higher than the $25 advertised. This is very misleading.
The restaurant Osco! Is very nice but there were some issues that I mentioned to the manager on duty.
- Tables are being cleaned with Windex or some window cleaner. This results in tables that are not properly sanitized and quite sticky to the touch.
- The little trays on the table containing the salt and pepper and flower vase are filthy and not cleaned regularly.
- The breakfast buffet has plenty of variety but much of the food is cold, especially the potatoes.
- I had a box delivered to the front desk who had it stored with the parking valet. When I went to retrieve it, the valet brought me to a room and pointed to where it was. There was no offer to bring it to the car. Needless to say he didn’t get a tip. I think if I was a Caucasian he may have acted differently.
- The room was nice and comfortable.
