An impromptu trip for us, based on your offer. Great fun. Drove from Toronto, stayed overnight in Montreal enroute. Had been to Quebec City a couple of times before, but always wonderful to wander around this very special city, Even better in winter.

The Travelzoo experience was very good. The hotel, while under construction, provided a very quiet and peaceful place to stay within walking distance to all the shops and boutiques in the Old Quebec area. The onsite restaurant/ Upscale tavern provided us with a very good breakfast and the service was exceptional. We will definitely come back to this establishment again.

We had a wonderful weekend in Quebec City and the Hotel was good. Great location, good staff and very clean. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was also very good.

The only thing that I would recommend would be changing the picture that appears on your website for this hotel. The outside of this hotel looks nothing like what one sees in the pictures.

The room smelled like sewage. The desk clerk says it happens as old hotel. Ge wouldn’t relocate us as no rooms available in our price range. We went out and came back and the room was fabreezed to mask the smell, making it worse . I felt like we got the worst room because we had vouchers even though we booked months in advance . It was the last room at end of hall, no view. Even the restaurant staff treated us differently than paying customers with no vouchers. We got tiny glasses of juice in comparison. They told us no hot chocolate working but served it to paying customers.
