$99—Seafood dinner for 2 on Granville Island

the food was interesting and very tasty. Our waiter was funny, entertaining and attentive but not intrusive.

Always a sense of anticipation to visit a venue for the first time. Granville Island can be a challenge at times, considering limited and scattered parking facilities. By visiting Van Fish Co on a rainy Sunday Evening in February eliminated these concerns. A friendly, cooperative and very competent waiter, Ryan, smoothly eased the four of us into a most pleasant dining experience of the 'Four-Course Chef's Menu'.

The special seasonal 'Four-Course Chef's Menu' was of excellent value, created with high quality ingredients. Three of the four courses were outstanding while the dessert would not be considered a 'memorable item'.

Our night out with my daughter and her husband was great. The waiter was friendly, helpful. The food was very tasty, the portions were generous. We definitely will go back.

This was my 1st time using the voucher at Vancouver Fish Company. The food was so much and delicious! It’s worth the value. The service was good! Highly recommended!

Came by for lunch for the seafood tasting menu for 2 persons with a $99 Travelzoo voucher. Reserved a booth with a view and got that...perfect start to lunch. I had looked at the sample menu previously when I purchased the voucher and thought they may give us options of the first course et al...but no it was everything on the sample menu. Started off with all the of the first courses: Maple Walnut Prawns, Mussels, Tuna Tataki and Smoked Bison Tartare...and with bread for dipping into the amazing mussel broth. Wow. The bison tartare was so good...melted in your mouth like butter. And the maple walnut prawns are one of the dishes they are known for...understandable once you have them. Next was the Squid Ink Tagliatelle and Chickpea Salad. Loved the vinaigrette on the salad and it was nice and light to partner with the pasta. The Whole Rainbow Trout was served with brussel sprouts, grilled carrots and roasted potatoes. The presentation and taste were amazing and we could only make it through about 1/2 the fish and vegetables. Opted to pack the sticky toffee pudding and try the Chocolate Torte. Another wow. Again, the taste and presentation were off the charts. Loved the way the hazelnut brittle complimented the mocha gelato and torte. Think we ended up packing 1/2 the meal. David was our server and he did a great job...very professional, personable and attentive. It was a very positive food experience and happy to recommend The Vancouver Fish Company for their Seafood Tasting Menu.
