Voucher Cancellation & Refund Policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to “My Account”. After 14 days, your voucher is nonrefundable. If advanced reservations are required, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel’s cancellation or rescheduling policy, and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. Hotel Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Once you’ve booked your dates, you can still change your travel dates directly with the hotel. Occupancy rules: Maximum occupancy is two persons; both over the age of 18.

The staff here are the most friendly and amazing people! The Inn is located along side a pretty little river and falls. The grounds are lovely as is the local area. We come to get away and do a little cross country skiing. This is our second stay here and will be back next year!

We received personal and exemplary service at front reception from Shelly. Not only did she provide us with great information about the trails and surrounding area, she was very courteous and kind with a great sense of humour. The snowshoeing trails were perfect and a bit challenging with all the snow.

Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Our shower door in the Cherry suite needed fixing. The hot tub experience with the sauna was lovely. The fireplace area might have been cleared so we could cozy up after the whirlpool. Overall we were quite satisfied with our 1 night getaway with friends. The food and breakfast were good. We liked our servers and Cathy was great.

Overall, wonderful, even in the winter. Unfortunately for us, the hot tub was out of service for the days we booked (just bad timing, that's all) but the hotel called and offered us a different date if that was a concern - they did everything right in my opinion. Would (and will) certainly return!

Only thing we did not like was that the room was VERY cold when we arrived. This could very well be because we had a last minute booking, but it would have been nice if the heat was at least on. :)

Unfortunately the travel zoo voucher we purchased stated that breakfast for two was included. However the Inn said that was a mistake and should have said that there was an $8.00 credit per person for breakfast so we were charged the difference in price for breakfast. No big deal but it is the principle that matters. Vouchers should be accurate and Inn should honour vouchers but they did not.

Terrific location with excellent food and the hot tub is an enjoyable perk. The concierge staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Shelley, among the best, for sure. Lots to see and experience in the towns nearby with spectacular views if you happen on #13 to Thornberry, as one example.

My girlfriend and made it a "girls getaway" We love the Inn. We loved our time there. The restaurant is very nice, but prices on menu items is very high, including wine. Food was very good though.

I love the area. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I enjoyed a 1 hour massage with "Nick". He is a nice "add on" to a ladies getaway. Nick is definitely beneficial to the Inn.

It wouldn't hurt the bar business if the draft beer menu included a dark craft beer.
There was only one negative. This did NOT sour the experience for us but left us a bit mystified about the logic of the owner/management's motivation. Great room, nicely furnished, all as expected...except for the mini bathroom towels, face-cloths, (Not worthy of Dollarama) minuscule soap bars, shampoo etc. etc. and the single-ply mini toilet paper rolls that elicited the same comment from "several other guests" who saw fit to mention ... "the incongruity of it all" to us. Jokes about using yards and yards of it which "cost more than a decent product." It was mentioned that maybe we should bring our own if we want to return to enjoy the wonderful food and great staff. It would be worth it for the management to seriously think about this.

Check in was smooth. Great staff, willing and helpful answering questions and concerns promptly. The food was delicious, had dinner and breakfast. It would be good for breakfast to be included instead of the credit they provide as a lot of inns and Bed and Breakfast places offer this. Rooms and decor are slightly outdated, but it provided the charm. Basic toiletries for the bathroom. The area surrounding the property was nice and there is a trail nearby to go on the Bruce trail hike. There are nearby towns within 20 to 30 minute drives to explore.

The staff are very friendly and the food were good portions. Owen Sound is only a 28 minute drive if your not a hiker.. The hiking trails are good according to those that took them. We went for the R&R and were satisfied.
