Lovely Chalet, comfy beds and wonderful location. Only small comment is that the kitchen dishes were a little sparse for 8 people and with no dishwasher, we felt we were always doing dishes.

Booking was great. They gave us a lot of information about checking in and what was expected for checkout. Checkin was very easy with the key right in the door. Chalet was as expected. Very nice and cozy.

The chalet's layout is excellent - very comfortable, with a spacious deck with a view of the lake. Great for watching the sunset with your morning coffee!

It's like a home away from home. Everything is supplied, and there's a spectacular view.

Overall good
Other Comments
The only supplied pair of dish gloves is in different sizes, one is small the other is medium. The worst is the small one is broken water gets in. The bigger pots have no lids, takes longer time to cook/boil

If you are looking for somewhere quiet to go to get away, this is the place. Not much was going on maybe because it’s off season. Everything is totally self serve as there is no one on site, which can be challenging if you need something or have questions as it has to been done by text messaging. The other thing to note, there are many, many steps to get down to the water so I would not recommend this place to anyone with mobility issues. Same for the units as bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is on the main floor. It was fine for us and very peaceful. Good selection of water craft available but totally self serve as no one is around to assist.
Other Comments
The grounds are a little run down but the units seem modern and clean. We found it odd for a unit that sleeps 5 people to only have one hand towel and one face cloth in the bathroom, yet bath towels were on each bed. We asked for another set, which was eventually delivered by a friendly cleaner but told us they usually only leave one set. You also are asked to take your own garbage out to a large dumpster by the road to assist housekeeping, which also seemed odd when units are cleaned in between guests. This place runs more like an Air BnB format so may not be suitable for anyone looking for on-site service. It was fine for us. There were several emails before we arrived with instructions on texting with our arrival and departure. You can’t park near your unit so are provided with small wagons to transport items between your vehicle and unit. Again, this is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as no one is available to assist you.

Wonderful self-serve chalet at Lake Muskoka close to Gravenhurst. There are 4 A frame lake view chalets, we stayed at Fox. The kitchen is well equipped, BBQ at the deck (we didn't use, but everything is provided). Large deck with table and umbrella. The way to go down to the shore is stairs, so may not be great for mobility challenged person. We loved our stay, and will stay longer next time.

We loved The Chalets. The well equipped cottage, magnificent view from the deck and comfortable furniture and beds made our stay really enjoyable. We also enjoyed the water front with loungers, trampoline islands, and use of kayaks and canoes.

Nice location to enjoy Muskoka, including being only 10 minutes from Gravenhurst. We had a lovely dinner at the Cliffside restaurant at Muskoka Bay resort.
