    Just register your flight up to 24 hours before. It's fast and easy, and you can add up to 3 family members/guests.
  2. We monitor your flight. If you are delayed by an hour or more, we'll alert you with a text message. It will come with a QR code for the closest lounge.
  3. Show your QR code when you arrive at the lounge. We partner with 1,600 lounges at over 500 airports.
Use this benefit anytime you fly. As many times as you want. As long as you are a Travelzoo Member (on the date of your flight).

Who is eligible to register for lounge access?
All Travelzoo Members are eligible to register their upcoming flights. Travelzoo Members may register up to 3 travel companions who are travelling with them. You must use the same email address on your Travelzoo Member account at the time of registration.
Is it free for Travelzoo Members to access an airport lounge?
Yes! Lounge access to select lounges in the event of a delay of an hour or more is complimentary for Travelzoo Members. You must be a Travelzoo Member at the time of the flight departure to enjoy the lounge access benefit.
How long does the flight delay need to be to access airport lounges?
If your registered flight is delayed by an hour or more, you will receive complimentary access to select airport lounges worldwide, where you and 3 registered and accompanying travel companions can relax in comfort while waiting for your flight.
How does the lounge access for delayed flights work?

Travelzoo Members must register their flight* at travelzoo.smartdelay.com.

Flight registration must take place at least 24 hours before the flight’s actual departure time. Travelzoo membership must be active at the time of departure. You will need to register any additional, connecting or return flights separately, meaning you register each leg of your flight. You will receive a confirmation email to acknowledge your registration(s). There is no limit to the number of flights you may register, but you must be travelling on registered flights. Proof of travel can be requested at any time.

In the event of a qualifying flight delay announcement, you will receive an email and/or SMS with your complimentary airport lounge access vouchers.

This benefit will not be provided if the reported delay does not meet the qualifying delay requirements**.

*A flight is defined as a single scheduled airline flight under a single flight number.

**A qualifying flight delay means a delay that is officially announced by the airline and reported to the flight status data service provider.

Are lounges located worldwide?
Our benefit will cover complimentary access to one of over 1,600+ airport lounges and lounge alternatives in more than 500 airports across 100+ countries. Are there free snacks and drinks in these lounges?
Most lounges provide complimentary snacks and refreshments, free Wi-Fi and device charging stations, free newspapers and magazine, and conference and business facilities.
Do I get to choose the lounge when more than one is available at an airport?
Yes! If there are multiple locations offered in your voucher confirmation, the travelling party may choose their desired lounge or lounge alternative to enjoy.
Is there a limit to the number of times I can use the benefit during a membership year?
There is no limit. Register all of your upcoming flights to ensure you have coverage each time you fly.
What happens if the lounge is full?
All access to lounges are subject to availability. If there is no availability in your chosen lounge, there may be alternatives. In rare instances, it may not be possible to access a lounge.
What happens if a flight is cancelled?
Flights that are cancelled or rescheduled to the next day (24 hours after the flight's scheduled departure time) will not be deemed as delayed and will be handled by the airline directly via their own compensation process.
