It was a great location, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the golf course was in great shape and the food at their restaurant was superb! The rooms are a little older so could use a little care but it's not in bad shape at all. Very clean and comfortable. The pool area is very nice. Has an adult pool section so that is nice. The outside bar is very convenient, but it closes at 6pm so that's a little early. Has some nice outdoor games also. We got the S'mores package so was fun making those around the firepits. There are several firepit locations to choose from. It was a very relaxing 3 days. Just what I needed.

The location and outdoor area were great as were published c areas. Rooms needed a little facelift , peeling wall paper, stained grout, curtain rod fell out.
The staff were very friendly and kind and but the dining service was super all w. With the exception of one meal we waited about 30 mins to order and and hour for our food.

The rooms are a bit worn but very spacious. I loved that we had rooms very close to the pool. The pool slide was a big hit with our granddaughters. I love that there are yard games, fire pits and a pool bar. There was supposed to be a movie by the pool the two nights we were there but it only happened one night. But we did really enjoy it that night. The grounds are beautiful. It was a very fun, relaxing atmosphere. Our only complaint is the restaurant. The food was good but the service was incredibly slow! There weren't even very many people in the restaurant and there was plenty of staff hanging around but it still took over an hour to get our food. When it did finally come it was already getting cold. Two people ordered the avocado toast and they forgot to put the egg on it. We ate there three times (only because breakfast was included with our travelzoo deal) and service was extremely slow every time. It was very frustrating! Except for that we had a great time.

We celebrated our annual Cousin Fest with 30 family members on the 4th of July weekend and had a super fun time. The fireworks were impressive, kids loved the bounce house, s’mores around the huge fire pits were a hit, the slide in the kids pool got worn out, poolside lawn games kept the young adults busy, the disc golf course was a hit, and the family BBQ buffet and breakfast vouchers were great!

Overall good experience! Had a lot of new staff that didn't seem to know how everything worked (we had breakfast vouchers and some staff didn't know what to do with them, and a few others things)....so we ended up getting charged for all the breakfasts, then we had to call and address the errors...a bit frustrating because it was supposed to have been solved at check-out, but, again, lots of new staff. Great location, close to San Antonio! Super cute downtown, but could even just stay at the resort. We had a great day just swimming at the pool, our daughter loved the waterslide!

Beautiful hotel! The main building is really nice! The room is pretty nice, could use some updating especially in the bathroom and a new mattress. But all in all it was nice!
