Location was very good. Price was reasonable for a room in midtown compared to other hotels.

Rooms were small and very dark, especially bathroom. It was like being in a poorly lite cave. No clock in room. TV remote did not work. Requested extra towels and “Do not disturb” placard on first day and never got either. Only four elevators. It took 20-25 minutes each day to get to lobby. Everyone complained about elevators being packed and the time it took to get one. I mentioned this to front desk, and all they said was they agreed. Breakfast at restaurant offered a limited buffet for $37, which was not worth it. Overall, the faculty was well below the standards that my wife and I are used to. Definitely would not go back.

The appetizer and bar were great, and the outside rooftop area is perfect to relax and take in the view.

The shower ran either really hot or cold, and lack of lip on the floor basically flooded the bathroom whenever we showered.

The staff was great at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were comfy. Our only complaint was that the water machines on almost all of the floor were broken when we tried to refill our water bottles.

It was mixed -- the hotel was nice and quiet, though there was a flashing bright light outside my window. I was not able to secure early check-in, which was disappointing (and I suspect was because of purchasing through Travelzoo)...and the check-in staff did not include the promised two drink vouchers. I went the bar at 11:45 pm after seeing a show and was told it was closed, even though hours were until midnight. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, but overall it was mixed and not a great value.

When we first arrived we were put in an ADA room, we did not request this or need this room. Upon calling the front desk we were told we could be put in another room but would have to pay $35/night to be “upgraded”. Im not sure why we needed an upgrade, we just wanted the room we had originally booked. The new room was very nice with a beautiful view of Times Square. We did enjoy the staff in the restaurant area, although the $30/person charge for the buffet breakfast was not worth the cost. Overall we had a good experience but we were disappointed with the extra cost we had to incur due to the room issue.

Cute boutique hotel. My room faced Times Square. Awesome view! The check in at 4 is always inconvenient but charging $75 to check in before 4 is robbery. Now I see why so many people were camped out in the lobby watching the clock. Most were sleeping.

I celebrated my birthday in New York. I chose this hotel because of the Travel Zoo deal, and it was in Times Square near the theaters where I was attending plays.

This hotel is really wonderful! The rooms are updated and beautiful. The amenities are great, such as a small refrigerator, coffee maker at request, hair dryer, lots of storage, a safe in the room, large tv, a fitness club, and a view of Times Square. The staff was so friendly and helpful. A shout out to Darlene for going above and beyond to help me with printing out my show tickets! Oh, and two free drinks were included. The rooftop bar is wonderful! I would stay there again when I go back in the future!!

Overall, it's a wonderful stay . The only negative experience was when we checked in, we were given the same room as we had stayed the previous time (we asked and was promised at our last check out. But our room was not even half cleaned when arrived in the room (around 5:00om). They promptly changed another room for us, and also provided the complementary fruits plate. The rest of our stay was fine.
