Our second bartender, Albert, at the pool was amazing. He was the only one. Very attentive, brought us water when we asked in 110 degree weather. Rooms are nice as well.

The service was terrible poolside for the first couple of hours and also in the restaurant. They did they say we’re short staffed when we arrived for dinner. We ordered salads, took forever, my was delivered without the chicken I requested. It came 20 min later and also gave me food poisoning later that evening.

The kingsize bed was very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a kingsize beanbag. Secondly, the air conditioner was so loud, it woke us every time it kicked on, which was about four or five times a night.

Lots of grass to walk dogs on. tree shade definitely helped the dogs (and humans) in the heat wave. Amazing check in with am upgrade to a suite. This really set the tone of the trip for us. Such a stunning room, and polite and helpful staff. The restaurant had enjoyable food and a pretty setting. The pool bar and hotel bar mixed delicious drinks and had witty bartenders. Loved that there were 2 pools, one being more secluded and quiet. Also had an amazing experience at the spa. They got me in that day and I could not have been more pleased with my facial and the entire spa mood. I wish that the kids screaming at the pool nearby was not an issue, many of the spa guesta around me complained about it. Overall, a nicely renovated resort with a fun atmosphere and amazing employees.

The hotel was nice, and we enjoyed the pool. We have never had so many kerfuffles with staff mistakes. It was upsetting but then became laughable. We ate in the restaurant many times and several times they messed up our bill. The service was the slowest we have ever encountered anywhere. Everything we ate from breakfasts to dinner was exceptionally good, but several times they told us they were out of what we ordered...also happened in the bar. We finally chocked it up to inexperienced staff possibly just learning their job?! Everyone working was friendly and nice, just incredibly inept! Housekeeping was GREAT though.

We were pleased with our large, newly appointed room though we didn't get the patio or balcony we thought we were getting. We had rude neighbors in 814 who had a dog that barked early in the morning and woke us up every day at daybreak. One day it barked continually for 30 minutes. I did call the front desk about it and the continual barking didn't happen again but the morning barking did. We could also hear every word the 2 women in the room said. We became annoyed seeing them with that little, fluffy dog in the cabanas every day knowing they weren't paying for those but sitting with the dog inside. We had wanted to rent one for my sister, who has Parkinsons , but couldn't afford hundreds of dollars. We were told that the dog owner had said it was a "service dog"! That was obviously a lie, the dog didn't always obey the owner and it couldn't have been 12 lbs! Just saying they put a damper on our otherwise nice relaxing stay.

Restaurant and bars were excellent. Would go back and highly recommend it. My husband and I went to the resort for our 20th wedding anniversary. Everything went so well, Abraham at the front desk was amazing, helpful, kind and gave us the perfect room, with a patio where we enjoyed coffee each morning. Thank you, Abraham. The pools are salt water and felt amazing and were very well kept. We ate at the bar and Gemma our server provided excellent input on the food, and fun drinks. She was friendly, and just so positive. Thank you, Gemma. The grounds are amazing, so beautiful and lovely. Live music each night we were there. We had breakfast at the Basil restaurant and Jorge was so attentive, and we just felt so taken care of thank you! The food at the restaurant was amazing, there was not a meal we did not love, it was so well prepared and just the way we ordered it. I honestly have not had such a good experience at a hotel in years. They did a great job with the beauty of the resort inside and out. Rooms are also lovely, updated and very spacious. It’s a really nice and comfortable resort. I liked the restaurant a lot. There were some great healthy food choices there and very good service. I don’t love Palm Springs especially this time of year. It is super hot, relentlessly sunny and very windy with a ton of dust. Don’t go if you have any breathing condition. The dust was terrible. I got the sense that the staff were asked not to discuss it. They acted funny when I brought it up. The golf course was very nice if you can tolerate the heat, sun, wind and dust.

It was great! Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had our two kids and two dogs. They were very accommodating. The only issue was that the room we were in 1414 smelled horrible once the shower was used and didn’t go away.

We had a lovely stay. Please clean the shower tub drain in room 1414. Once we used the shower the entire room smelled horrible like gas and did not dissipate. The HVAC system was also in need of a tuneup. It was not very cold and the kids were not happy at night time. The staff is great and the property is lovely. Thank you

The location was good .The front area of the resort has been upgraded and is nice but certainly not what one would expect to find at a Tommy Bahama resort .

The Resort is being upgraded but altho the resort was only half full we were put in a building that was very run down and still needing to be upgraded . We requested to be relocated and were only offered available rooms in the same building . this room was worth much less than we paid even with the TravelZoo discount . We had two couples in two rooms and none of us would never return .

We had one quick night but a great first experience! Pool, grounds and room are all very nice. We ate at the Basil restaurant for dinner and breakfast and food and service was wonderful. My only negative comment was that hostess forgot about us for a very long time until I approached her and she was not friendly or apologetic about it. Otherwise, everyone else in our experience was very friendly and professional.

Resort fees that were not used. Paid self parking.
Very poor directions via navigation and Waze. Led us through neighborhoods to a back gate at property.

This was a nice hotel and a great travelzoo price but I wouldn’t rank it the same as the other local four-star hotels I have been to an Indian wells.

We loved our family getaway celebrating a birthday and Mother’s Day! We love the ambiance of the hotel. Everyone was super nice. As far as Service goes, the attention to detail is lacking. We ate at Grapefruit Basil Friday night. Server was very nice. However. We were missing place settings, food and drinks took a long time. We were not asked how our meals were or if we needed anything else. We did ask for salt and pepper and it took a while to get. We told them when we were seated that we were celebrating a birthday. We ordered dessert and they did not even sing Happy Birthday. Also on our Travelzoo confirmation it said we would get a 20% discount on our meal they said , No problem. We got the bill and. No 20% taken off. It’s embarrassing to have to keep asking for the the things they say are included and don’t want to be nagging when you came to enjoy a family getaway. Everything is very Expensive these days! That’s just the way it is . But when it come to tipping , it means To Insure Proper Service. .and I think they are lacking in completely training an employee from start to finish. The food was delicious and all the employees were super nice!

The restaurant at the front, the olive trees with lanterns, the bocce ball areas were a nice touch.

For the name Tommy Bahama I expected this hotel to be much nicer than it was. Our room was just your average room and there was a small hole in the wallpaper through the wall. The drinks at the pool were disappointing.
