We stayed here one night to celebrate our anniversary. The desk staff wished us a happy anniversary. My husband upgraded us to a view room == it was superb! Comfy bed, relaxing space. A bit of a trek up California after dinner but that's San Francisco!

We do not recommend Stanford Court San Francisco hotel. In future travel to San Francisco, we will be careful to find smoke-free hotels and there are plenty to choose from.

This hotel smells of smoke everywhere even though it is advertised as a smoke-free hotel. There was no signs of smoke-free environment throughout the hotel. We did not sleep well due to the smoke smell. We mentioned this issue with the front-desk representative, but she failed to address the issue to our satisfaction. We are very disappointed on both the hotel and the supporting staff. A nice looking hotel but the quality is severely lacking.

All Staff friendly except check out person no so much! Offered up grade upon check-in, very reasonable and took advantage of it!! Room was very clean, windows opened which was very nice to have outside air!!

Location was great, but is up a very steep hill!! Not noisy even though on two cable car routes!! Only one elevator was working so that was a little inconvenient but not too bad!!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The hotel was beautiful and staff were warm and inviting. The elevators were quirky. Location is convenient, quiet (by city standards) and well kept.

We loved our weekend at Stanford Court. We had a large corner room with incredible views, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the hotel was immaculately clean. Advance check-in via the app went smoothly, they simply handed me the key when we arrived and we were all set. The location is A+ and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this fantastic hotel!
