Great time. Very low occupancy, therefore the main restaurant wasn't open for dinner, only breakfast. The store closed around 6:00pm, Other than those two inconveniences the trip was great!

Visiting this hotel has been on my bucket list for a long time. We were not disappointed, the resort is beautiful and our room was large and comfortable. We had a (side) view of the Choptank River which was nice. It was too cold to enjoy outdoors much but that's our choice of when we went. Would have liked to enjoy the trails, mini golf, etc, more. The indoor pool is very large.

We both need to eat gluten free and the resort was very accommodating. The menus are clearly marked and I know they took good care to avoid cross contamination since the food took a long time one night and the manager came to the table to tell us the first order had been prepared incorrectly and he had the kitchen make it again using safe procedures! That is a good thing.

The staff at Chesapeake resort were very helpful and professional. The ease of check in was seamless. Special thanks to the staff at waters edge. The dinner team of Kanika and Truti made us feel at home. Their hospitality and impressive knowledge of the menu made our dining experience memorable. They were professional and friendly even though it was very busy.
Also we were lucky enough to have Maryann at breakfast both mornings of our stay. She is an outstanding example of someone who take interest in her customers. She kept our cups full of coffee and her suggestions on the menu spot on! By the second visit she greeted us with a smile and a pot of hot coffee because she took the time to remember us although she deals with dozens of customers daily!! Looking forward to returning in the near future.

The service was the biggest drawback at both the hotel and the restaurants. This was offset by how good the food was when it finally (after an hour and 15 minutes) arrived and the offering of gluten free options! The rooms are very spacious with many little extras like a table in the bathroom to set toiletries vs trying to fit them all around the sink. And a table in the main room that came in handy for room service! There are many activities for kids and the family and we really had a lovely last minute weekend getaway. We are already planning our next visit! Thank you!

Great resort in a great location. Excellent check in / lobby staff. Food and pool staff were young and inexperienced - probably summer hires, so didn’t have the poise of the veteran staff. Food was disappointing, not Hyatt quality. Fortunately there are nearby towns with world-class dining. Rooms very spacious and nicely furnished.

We all enjoyed the pools, despite all three being at what appeared to be full capacity. It was absolutely slammed. I sure hope the new Hyatt condos will have their own community pool. I can’t imagine adding more to the already strapped pool amenities.

The check-in staff were not friendly or helpful. I’d even call one woman surly. When the last of our three rooms was ready, the surly woman asked how many would be in the room. My husband and I answered two. When we got to our room we found just one room key wrist band. As soon as we entered the room we were immediately hit with strong marijuana odors. Additionally, it was not the room we booked via Travelzoo. Ww were given two queens. We called to ask for a new room due to the strong odor. The new room was the correct style, one king, however the diffuser curtains had large unsightly holes (whereas the first room had unraveling carpet at the seams).
At checkout we asked for detailed bills and noticed we did not receive the 20% off food and drink that was included in our Ttavelzoo deal. My husband brought this up with regards to our room and my mom’s. The man he spoke to began to work on correcting our bills. My brother in law spoke to a woman at the front desk and she said you were supposed to use a voucher at each transaction and refused to fix it. Well, that’s a Hyatt issue. Their staff did not give us vouchers at check-in or explain the process. Her attitude was really disappointing. The man who was helping us agreed to work on my brother in law’s bill.
The check-in and out experience with this Hyatt was subpar, and far from welcoming. Perhaps some re-training would benefit the staff.

This was our third visit to the Resort. We love the resort; however, on day one, we discovered one of the sheets was soiled on the side of the bed. We brought it to the attention of housekeeping (she was passing by when we were leaving the room and asked us how we were doing and we proceeded to show her the sheet). Unexpected situation for a resort of this caliber! We appreciated the fact by the time we returned housekeeping had changed all our sheets. However, we were disappointed the management team did not contact us about the soiled linen. The incident put a damper on our stay. Since our first two stays were excellent, there is a 67% chance we will return.

Our stay at the Hyatt Chesapeake was a wonderful experience. The facilities and amenities were amazing. The only shortcoming was that even though the resort has 5 restaurants, only one was open on Tuesday evening. While there were many tables available at 7:15, the service was very slow. After waiting 45 minutes for our food to arrive, it was incorrect. We then had to wait another 1/2 hour for the crabcakes that we did order. I realize that this week before Memorial Day is still "off-season", but for a facility of this magnitude, there should be more dining options.

This was our 2nd visit here. It is a beautiful resort with all the amenities you could want. Andrew, at the desk could not have been more helpful. During our first visit here we loved swimming in the infinity pool. It was not open yet during this visit. Only tip I have is guest parking is a bit of a walk from the resort. But, we could use the steps, so it was ok. Just take out your bags when you ck in, before you park. Will definitely come again!

The hotel was lovely and grounds were very nice. Staff was friendly and able to accommodate a late checkout which was great. We were there during the week and it was quiet which was nice. Check out Bay Country donuts a few minutes away for amazing donuts. You can pre-order a giant one. Great for teens- pool tables- game room with ping pong, air hockey and foosball- great it is open anytime.

Heater on one of the outdoor pools was broken- would have liked to be able to use that. Movies in pool started too early- not dark- you couldn't see the movie. Mini golf course is in real need of repair and more signage is needed for disc golf.

We had an amazing trip at this property. We have been hearing good things and decided to spend our anniversary there after seeing the Travelzoo deal. The property is beautiful, check in was a breeze. Room and views were outstanding. Most of the outdoor activities were closed, but we did get to use the indoor pool and hot tub, exercise space, and mini golf. Restaurants were great, and we took part in the mixology class. Lastly, the spa was worth it (another Travelzoo deal). Overall, we can't wait to return.

It was great but there was 1 problem. When we got there, they told me Travel Zoo had canceled the reservation. Fortunately I had brought all the confirmation info with me, so they found us another room. I firmly believe if I had not had that information with me though, that we would not have been accommodated. I wanted to let you all know of this snafu. It worries me a bit, had we been farther from home and that happened.

Winter break with kids. It was a nice break for tonight‘s. I wouldn’t stay there any longer with kids because the pool starts to wear out and there’s not much else to do because of the cold. I’m sure there’s a lot more to do in the summertime they had lots of swimming pools, a puppet course, but it was too cold to go outside and do any of those things definitely a sum resort

My husband and I visited the Hyatt for a random weekend getaway and Travelzoo’s deal made our trip so much more affordable! I wasn’t sure whether we were going to be given a lower tier room because we were booked through a third-party, but it was quite the opposite. It was really relaxing. The resort is beautiful and the staff is attentive. The pool area is clean and the lifeguards seemed to be paying close attention. When I had questions about my bill checking out, it was easily explained. The one meal we had on site was delicious and the server was great!
