Overall a good experience, but a couple of things kept it from being great: Fist, we were not informed or given the breakfast vouchers or wine bottle when we checked in, and had to leave the restaurant on our first morning to go to the front desk and try and figure out how to get our breakfast, after the restaurant initially refused to serve us. Secondly, we were surprised on our first night to find music and crowd noise pumped directly into our room from the restaurant patio outside our window. We asked to move to a less noisy room, but we were told there were none available. This ended up being tolerable, but it would have been better if we were given some kind of heads up. Many people probably do not go to this hotel for peace and quiet in the first place, but it would have been better if the noise condition was disclosed as a simple courtesy.

Great location in Union Square, close to BART station and bus lines making it very easy to get wherever we needed to go. Room was very nice and comfortable and quiet. We found the free continental breakfast to be too generous so we didn't use all of our coupons since we don't like to be wasteful. Also, coffee was only warm not hot. But we highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, rooms were clean.
Other Comments
Overall the staff was not very pleasant. I was quite surprised at the difficulty and discomfort I received from getting some basic questions answered. Valet parking was not easy. Lots of noise outside which was heard all night long. And the check out staff and garage valet parking staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.

This was a great deal! we got a free bottle of wine and vouchers for the restaurant however, check your bill! The complimentary breakfast was billed on my final bill and I had to speak to management who quickly fixed the issue.

We stayed at Hotel Zelos when we attended a Golden State Warriors game. It was easy to park in front of the hotel in order to check in. We had the car valeted which made things easy. The vibe inside is sort of speakeasy/ steam pump nicely done. The Muni bus to the Chase Center stops right in front of the hotel and the Muni tram station is also a short walk. Would return.
