We have stayed before but in a better room. The double room is too small, the bed is small and not real comfortable. We were also located on the first floor in front of the elevator so lots of traffic and noise. I should have selected the upgraded room which I have done in the past.
The breakfast valued at $30 is way overpriced for an underwhelming Continental breakfast. We ate at a restaurant on our second morning instead.

Hotel is walkable distance from the train station and is right in the old city so excellent location. Check in staff were very pleasant and gave lots of good info as well as the bonus coupons for staying. Room was small but clean and was as advertised.

Breakfast was just enough. Never ending coffee & tea available in the lobby.
Lots of choices for breakfast from pastries/breads/bagels/yogurt/cereals/crepes/cakes/oatmeal and of course nice condiments including maple syrup for your crepes.
Our room was fine, quiet, and all the staff we encountered over three days were welcoming, friendly and smiling.
Within a 3 minute walk there's a number of great restaurants available.

The location of hotel was very good and central to the sights of the Old Quebec City. The room in the hotel was large and comfortable with a great view out of the windows looking onto the river and the Chateau Frontenac . One of the best hotel experiences I have had, and I have travelled alot. It was a lovely surprise; I expected a decent hotel, but got a gem of a hotel, with many special touches and lovely little details, which when combined with a relaxing stay, made it truly memorable. First of all, the location is amazing; right in front of a park, overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence river, walking distance to all kinds of shops & restaurants. The hotel itself was perfect; character & charm, very clean, wonderful & helpful staff, valet service for our vehicle (therefore no headache for parking; just leave car in front of hotel, valet does the rest). The room itself was amazing; large & comfortable, high ceilings, great views onto the park and river, 3 windows; Large bathroom, therapeutic bath and shower, wonderful bath/shower products to use from a local Quebec company (organic), scent diffuser with long matches for ease of lighting, lots of towels, bathrobes, real glasses (not plastic) with ice bucket and wine bottle opener, boot tray by the door, sitting area to either watch TV, or rearrange to look out onto the magnificent view with a coffee or cocktails. Breakfast was really nice; great coffee machine (available 24 hours/day), fresh fruit, variety of breads & pastries, jams, local Quebec cheeses, yogurt, cereal, creton, etc. Wine dispenser in lobby, so awesome if you did not bring your own wine. Everything about this gem of a hotel says loudly "we care about you, our clients, and want to make you happy & comfortable!!".

We travel to Quebec City 3x a year.
There is always something to do there, so we like to stay in the Old part of the City that has all the old world charm of Europe but still being in Canada.
Our Hotel was lovely and the staff were fantastic especially Julien who is originally from France.
He was so helpful and wonderful to talk to.
He gave us suggestions for going for dinner etc and listened to my husbands endless stories.
The hotel was n the perfect location across from the Chateau Frontenac and a view of the river with the Tobaggan runs .
The hotel has everything we needed to make the two night stay most enjoyable!

i booked a package that included breakfast, valet parking, a 15$ credit for their electronic wine bar, a little gift, 15% off certain restaurants and shops, and access to the Château Laurier hotel, a 15 minute walk from the Bellevue, that had a pool, spa, gym, massage services, etc. Coffee and juice were also always available The 15$ credit for the wine bar is the best idea, because it brought guests together in their little sitting area, playing board games, enjoying the fireplace and exchanging stories. The staff went out of their way to be helpful (changing the empty wine bottles in the dispenser, making sure the fireplace was working, getting our vehicle on time, answering questions) and pleasant.

The hotel was beautiful and in the perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere. The package we received through Travelzoo was a fantastic deal as it included parking, breakfast, discounts to other restaurants in the area, a wine card worth $15 and a nice little surprise for our room as well. The hotel also provided free coffee and juice throughout the day and pasties too. Those croissants were delicious! I would go back in a second.
