We were in town for a concert and stayed at the Double Tree. Staff was excellent, room was clean, and comfortable.

Great location and staff. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft. Mattress needed to be turned or replaced.

It's a nice hotel, located on the outskirts of downtown so a longer walk, not a ton of food options, but overall had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay!

Pleasant stay. Really appreciated the white noise and nightlight in the room. Parking seemed quite overpriced.

There is a very narrow opening between the front desk and the hall to get to the elevators which is often clogged with guests. It can be difficult for someone with a disability - or even without one - to navigate through the crowd to get to the elevator.

Decent location for downtown access, albeit a little noisy - since it is adjacent to a busy interstate highway. Rooms were fairly spacious, but a good portion of the staff didn't seem truly engaged in the hospitality elements of the business (e.g. cleaning and breakfast buffet staff seemed to be, 'phoning it in'). Travelzoo pricing made the DoubleTree worth a try.

We were visiting Asheville for our anniversary weekend. The hotel staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel was within walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.
