The Raddison Blu Aruba was okay. The location and it's proximity to other hotel & stores along the main Aruba hotel district is great . The ocean view from my hotel balcony was okay as well. The water at the hotel takes a couple of minutes to get hot so don't just jump right in. The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean.The pool is beautiful. My room was nice & clean. No bugs but the door lock to the balcony was broken and off track. The furniture on the balcony was not very comfortable. Also the kitchen utensils were lacking as well. Not a lot of real plates or silverware but they do provide two cups. They have wood utensils, couple of paper plates and two glasses for you to use. The room delivery & the food is a little pricey too. 35 dollars for a small bowl of chicken cooked in honey mustard sauce w/ veggies plus guac is kind of outrageous, but it was delicious. Every staff member that I came into contact with was nice, respectful and very helpful. All in all it's a nice hotel but for what they charge you to stay does not equal the value that you get for your stay.

The last issue is the parent hotel (CHOICE) sent me a seperate bill, reservation number and down graded my room for some unknown reason. There was confusion and the staff at that office was rude & not very helpful.

The front desk staff was amazing. Everyone was very cheerful and happy to help. The concierge was amazing! She got us some great deals on a Sunset Cruise and other excursions. The view from the infinity pool was amazing! All the pools there were beautiful and the food was very good. I would highly recommend going to the Radisson Blu as it is very walkable to many many restaurants, shopping, and the beach.

great hotel and great value. lounge closes at 9 so plan to go elsewhere for night life. Staff was incredible. Rooms were very clean and both pools were great. Beach wasn't far at all.... a little tight and busy compared to other beaches. So many dining options within walking distance or a fast taxi ride. This was a remarkable trip - especially for the cost.
We are already trying to book for next year!

The room that we purchased was narrow and didn’t have a small usable kitchen, so we upgraded to a bigger room and incurred a larger cost at checkout. Plus the resort fee was too much, so I will not use a Travelzoo trip to Aruba again.

This was our third time in Aruba and our second time staying at the Radisson! The 2 bedroom suites are very spacious and perfect for 2 couples or a family. The adults only pool was one of our favorite amenities. They also had strong happy hour drinks and free Gelatissimo gelato by the pool one day which was a fun surprise. Even though you’re not on the beach it does not take away from the experience. Takes about a minute to get to the beach by shuttle or 5-7 minutes walking. We got free daily beach umbrellas/chairs with our voucher that could be reserved ahead of time and round trip airport transfer which worked out really well! Would highly recommend!

Great stay. Rooms are spacious. Kitchen is not so useable- no silverware (Leeds building related, but surprising, so though you have a fridge you donr have a useable knive to cut a tomatoes for example) The pools are great, the walk to the beach is 3 minutes and totally doable even without the lovely shuttle provided. You can tell the staff here cares- they are doing their best to make a wonderful stay for the guests. Very centrally located to cafes (one on site which is lovely but very very slow so plan accordingly. I would definitely come back.

What a relaxing and wonderful vacation in a gorgeous place. Our family of four (including two fully grown teens) had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The fridge/microwave made it easy to keep drinks and snacks available. The check-in was simple, and we loved the welcome glass of bubble. Dana was an awesome bellman, telling us about the property and our room, as well as how to control the temp, etc. The beach is about a 2 min walk away, but they also provide a shuttle to make it even easier. The pools were sparsely full when we were there (which the staff did note was a down time, right after Soul Festival). Nearby restaurants were great and within easy walking distance (we loved Nos Clubhuis at sunset and for happy hour). We easily reserved chairs and umbrellas at the beach, despite some previous reviews stating that it was hard to get a chair. In all, there is really nothing I would change about this stay (and I'm not afraid to point out deficiencies where I see them… but in this case, there really were now ). Best vacation our family has had in years… loved every second.

We had an island view, and despite the opportunity to upgrade even just before arrival, I didn’t take it. That’s the one thing I might change, not because the ocean view is better (though I’m sure it is)— but because ocean side has a balcony. That would be a lovely place to end the night each evening.

Everything about this hotel was excellent with the exception of the breakfast experience Unfortunately, it wasn't the staff's fault. The hotel is clearly understaffed, which made it difficult for the ones working to give the service needed to please their guests. Lucia was exceptional, but as I said, it was hard for her to attend to everyone. One day there were only two people working and the breakfast area was so crowded that people were waiting to get their tables cleaned. Again, it wasn't the staff's fault; the hotel needs to hire additional staff to support the number of guests staying at the hotel. I would still highly recommend the hotel!

The rooms were nice size and great beds it’s just that the rooms were kind of ‘sterile’ feeling. So white and bland.

We all felt like the hotel should have more chaise loungers at the beach as there were people frustrated there was no place to lie in the sun. There is room, why not add some. We saw one group of 6 people using 8 chairs for over 5 hours and would rotate between them. That should not be allowed. They would put a towel on a chaise and leave it there like they owned it.

If we go back to Aruba, we would choose a hotel on the beach or a hotel with a larger beach. The Radisson Blu had a beach w/ chairs but the beach was very small & at the marina so swimming in ocean was less than desirable and you had to be at the beach by 8am to even get a beach chair. There were not near enough chairs at either of the pools. Again, if you didn't claim a chair before 8am, there were none to be had. Breakfast was good every morning. Lunch the day we arrived was less than desirable and expensive. Rooms were clean but it was late in the afternoon before anyone offered us bed make up, towels, etc. Most days, we were getting ready for dinner when housekeeping arrived so we were handed fresh towels but beds were not made and trash was not emptied.

This was a fun girls trip that had everything we needed at an affordable price. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean, and the staff is very helpful and kind. We could have done with some actual silverware in our room kitchen, and it was frustrating that there were days/times that it was too windy to have the umbrellas up by the pool, but these are our only complaints and they are inconsequential.

I saw this deal and it was perfect and so reasonable priced. The staff was great and helpful and hotel was clean and rooftop adult pool was my favorite from the hotel. Another outstanding were the rooms. 2 bedroom for 4 people and 2 baths! Great deal! The things that needed improvement are:
1) breakfast up at Sunset Bistro. The French toast was soft. Scramble eggs were weird textured. Has browns was too hard and looks nothing like traditional crispy/crunchy hash browns. Nothing like what we know used to. Please YouTube American breakfast and make it right. Perhaps you’ll get more business that way. Oh another is omelets. They gave us up to 3 toppings and no cheese. Cheese should not be a topping. It should be included.
2) inconvenience walk to the beach and this part of the beach doesn’t have nice water like Palm Beach by Riu/Riu Palace hotel. Radisson Blu can’t fixed this because the building is already done, but it makes this deal so great. I guess that’s to compensate I guess.
These are the 2 reasons why we might not stay here again. The location is really inconvenient.

Overall my group of girl friends and myself had a fantastic time at this resort. We were greeted upon arrival by Lis (receptionist) and Dana (bellman), with friendly smiles and quickly assisted to our rooms. Throughout our stay the staff accommodated ours needs and upon departure, Santos (bellman) assisted our luggage to our car rental. I loved the rooftop pool area and the close proximity of the hotel to the near by market/plaza
