The proximity to nature is breathtaking. What a great experience! The weather was perfect. I can imagine it getting pretty cold on a foggy day.

You have to kayak past a long row of boats, and then pass long projections of rocks with lots of pelicans. This means pelican poop, and a lot of flies. I think I would like a more open area. However, you can’t even come close to finding somebody better than the person who helped us with our kayak. he put up with inexperienced old ladies and he was just in such good humor the whole time. We loved him plus he had that perfect look. So cool! If we were more experienced, maybe we could’ve kayaked passed all of those things, but we only wanted to do an hour the first time so we never got past them.

We enjoyed a day on the bay in a tandem kayak. We saw seal lions and lots of birds. We will definitely return for another adventure on the water!
