Il Patriarca is an idyllic 19th-century villa ideally situated halfway between Florence and Rome. About the Getaway

To reach Il Patriarca, travelers can fly into Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (PEG) or Florence Airport (FLR); from there, it's a a two-hour drive to the hotel from both. Alternatively, travelers can fly into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO); from there, it's approximately a two-hour drive to the hotel.

Voucher cancellation and refund policy: Within 14 days of purchasing your voucher(s), Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you do not have an active reservation with the hotel. Once you book your dates, changes and cancellations are subject to the hotel's cancellation or rescheduling policy and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. The staff was amazing. Literally every single staff person we met was terrific. The food was all terrific, and the Michelin dinner was the single best meal of our lives. And we also got so much out of the cooking class. It was an incredible time and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Not only is this a beautiful hotel and chateaux, but they gave us a great bottle of Prosecco with snacks, we will test out the restaurants over the next couple of days, but they also booked severygreat wine experiences as well. You want a first class experience this is the place!!!!

Villa il Patriarca is a gem, in every sense. A beautiful, peaceful, expansive property with the most wonderful, welcoming staff. Add to this an elevated, gourmet tasting menu created by Michelin Star Chef, Katia and the opportunity to spend 3 hours in her kitchen for a hands-on cooking class-it was a dream; a truly exceptional experience.

Our only suggestion is that the cooking class include only 2 pastas and perhaps a dessert and side dish or charcuterie tray ideas. It was very difficult to eat 4 pastas for lunch!
