We had a wonderful Excursion that was curated by the resort. The staff was exceptional

We honeymooned in January at You&Me Maldives. We stayed in a Dolphin villa with private pool. It was incredible. The room was large and clean with spectactular views. The food was excellent. Snorkelling and diving were fantastic. The water was warm and clear.

It was the best vacation we have ever had . And in the most beautiful location . The staff was so friendly and gracious

Traveling to the Maldives has always been a dream of my wife and I. You and Me Maldives did not disappoint. From the staff to the food, everything was amazing. We have created lifelong memories there and hope to return in the future.

This was really a great deal for the Maldives! They were very responsive over email while booking and we had no issues. All of the staff were really nice and accommodating. The food was good and the bungalows were "mostly" updated. The over the water bungalow with pool we stayed in could use a little TLC in some areas (e.g. chipped tile in the pool, bottom of wooden staircase to the water was rotting a bit). After going to all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean for years, I have the expectation that everything (food and drink wise) are truly included. I did not like that there were exclusions from the all-inclusive list here. I would also add that the resort should consider changing it's marketing strategy. Perhaps at one point their main clientele were couples but there were several adults there traveling together not as couples, like myself. I know we were hesitant about booking here at first because of the "couples theme" but it was ultimately fine. A switch to an "adults only" theme might attract more clients.

Great island for adults! Top program and a very good quality of the COCOON Group! Also the sister hotels JOY are absolutely recommended! Great offer, top food, great service! That's how vacation is!

Excellent service. Food was high quality and delicious with lots of choices. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Everything is very clean. The beach is white powder sand, comfortable loungers and crystal clear water.

Wonderful

Don't get me wrong, You and Me was a great trip and great resort, but there were a lot of things that would otherwise detract from a "luxury" experience. We went on an "all inclusive" package, yet the resort seemed intent on nickel and diming that throughout the trip. There were plenty of optional add ons and experiences - that's normal - but there were so many things that kept this from being a carefree vacation. Firstly, it's not "all inclusive" - the resort teetotals you on a number of things - including meals. We were told when we arrived that we could either have lunch that day (on arrival) OR on our checkout day. Overall, especially for someone used to the all inclusive experience at Caribbean resorts where you do whatever you want while you're on the property, that felt unnecessarily picky. Secondly, just about everything in the mini bar had a cost associated. You get all the drinks you want at the one bar on the property, but not in your room. Additionally, the resort overall lacked the polish of a "luxury" resort. Service was pretty inconsistent - long wait times to put in an order, mistakes with orders, ingredients missing from dishes - all of this is understandable, but it happened through the whole trip. The resort seemed to lack the systems or processes that you would expect from a chain resort that bring consistency to these things. We'd get asked for our room number 3 or 4 times at every meal - instead of just once when we checked in. The staff tried hard and were friendly and, importantly, apologized profusely when they made mistakes, but it seemed like the management failed to put them in positions where these easy things simply didn't happen as often. While the dishes were all good, again, this was a place where the resort skimped on things that shouldn't have been. If you order the noodle dish with chicken, you'll get the noodles with one, tiny thumb-sized skewer of chicken. It seemed like the resort as a whole would do that absolute minimum necessary to meet the "letter of the law" rather than give guests a top notch positive experience. The whole place was beautiful and there was a lot of choice, but I left feeling a little unsatisfied compared to some of the other resort experiences I've had in equally beautiful places.
