I had to call several times before I got to speak to someone to book. I left a voice message once but didn’t get a call back. Having now stayed at guest house I can see why it’s difficult to get through, one lady not only serving reception but answering all other queries from guests, having to leave her post for other duties etc. lovely lady and very helpful. Only one four poster, king sized room available when I booked with my vouchers, was offered a superior room but at an extra charge or a standard double. Took the double but was disappointed as I’d paid for vouchers for two king rooms. Saying that, the king room was very tight with the four poster, very little room around the bed for any extra furniture. A wardrobe but no drawers to unpack into so lived out of our bags. Also the charge for staying weekend nights is high, £70 extra. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom and shower good. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Easy walk from guest house to city centre. Car park behind the guest house was convenient but expensive at £19.00 per day. Not down to guesthouse of course but may need to be taken into account when budgeting for stay.

We stayed two nights, along with our friends (couple) and enjoyed the atmosphere, the breakfast, cream tea and distance into the city. Just perfect!

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Very clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Very convenient for all the attractions in Bath and a car park just behind the hotel. Would never stay anywhere else in Bath.

Staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble. Made the whole trip a very happy experience.

Quiet area of bath city, but easy and quick access. Lovely and clean rooms, with approachable and helpful staff. Free Wi-Fi, but it was frequently lost in our room, which is our only downside.

Had a lovely time at the hotel especially because the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding. Maybe my only criticism is some of the decor needs a bit updating. Would recommend.

Excellent location for everything you can do in bath, walking distance to all the tourist stuff and city centre. Staff were excellent and we wanted for nothing. Cream tea was lovely, breakfast was great and plenty of choice, all was cooked fresh and enough for anyone.

We will definitely be going back, next time we go to bath.
