Itinerary

• Istanbul... start the trip with two nights in this spectacular Turkish city. You'll stay less than 10 minutes' walk from The Blue Mosque, and the Hagia Sofia Mosque. You could also cross over into Asia on a boat tour.
• Kusadasi... take a trip to nearby Ephesus, around a 30-minute drive from the port. Once an ancient Greek city, Ephesus boasts magnificent ruins, including temples, theatres, and statues. 
• Piraeus... is a 30-minute Metro journey from Athens, Greece's historic capital. This is the oldest city in Europe and is often referred to as the cradle of civilization. See the Acropolis, the Parthenon, and the ancient Agora. Be sure to explore the city's shops and restaurants, too.  
• Catania... make port in Sicily, at the foot of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Or, travel an hour down the coast to the beautiful town of Taormina. This coastal gem is known for being the setting of season two of HBO's hit show 'The White Lotus'.
• Salerno... where Medieval churches and trattorias echo with the bustle of Southern Italy. The city is also a gateway to the world-famous Amalfi Coast, where mountains plunge into the sea with such coastal gems as Ravello, and Positano worth a visit.
• Civitavecchia... this port city is just over an hour's train ride from Rome. Step back in time as you explore The Eternal City's ancient sights. Tour the Colosseum, spend time in the Forum, or people-watch at the Spanish Steps. 
• La Spezia... spend time admiring the colourful seafront or wandering through the city's picturesque public gardens. Alternatively, have an arty day in Florence, climb Pisa's famous leaning tower, or visit the colourful clifftop town of Cinque Terre. 
• Cannes... wander along the Promenade de la Croisette, shaded by pine and palm trees. Explore the Suquet district's winding streets, showcasing the town's fishing village heritage. Or, head to the city centre, where you'll find on open-air shopping centre. 
• Marseille... the cultural capital of southern France is a destination in its own right. Or, you can go inland to explore pretty Provence.
• Barcelona... finish the adventure with two nights in the Catalan capital. Your hotel is just off the city's main thoroughfare, La Rambla. Admire Park Güell's colourful mosaics, sample delicious tapas, or visit the famous Sagrada Família.

Norwegian Pearl accommodates up to 2,300 passengers at full capacity. During the day, you can relax on the main pool deck, which has a separate kids' pool and hot tubs. There's also a fitness centre with ocean views, plus a spa.
