Amy Groves

This ship is small enough to visit the historic towns and tiny islands that other ships can't reach

Why We Love This Deal

Imagine Cruising has negotiated £1000 off this boutique East Mediterranean cruise. There are only 110 guests, and everyone sails in an elegant wood-panelled suite as standard. We love the itinerary, which includes captivating islands, dramatic fjords, and traditional, off-the-beaten-path towns.

What's included

  • Return flights, with 23kg checked baggage
  • Fully escorted transfers
  • A 7-night cruise on MS Caledonian Sky, in a Standard Suite
  • All meals, plus drinks with lunch and dinner
  • An exclusive guided tour to Krka National Park
  • Gratuities

When
Fly from London on 30 June or 7 July, 2025.

For more information, see our partner's website.

Itinerary
You'll join the ship in Venice and fly home from Athens. Cruise highlights include:

  • Šibenik, Croatia... enjoy an exclusive guided tour to Krka National Park. The region is famous for its towering waterfalls and cascades.
  • Korčula and Mljet, Croatia... a jumble of red rooftops will emerge over the horizon as you approach Korčula. The island is famous for its unique white wine. Afterwards, visit Mljet, said to be the paradise that captivated Odysseus for seven years.
  • Dubrovnik, Croatia... explore the old walls on a guided tour, then enjoy the city at leisure. The ship will stay docked in port until late evening. That means you've got time to dine at a local restaurant, if you choose.
  • Kotor, Montenegro... you'll cruise along the stunning fjord to the Medieval town centre. It has a dramatic location surrounded by mountains. If you're feeling energetic, climb the 1350 steps to the clifftop castle.
  • Otranto, Italy... this stunning whitewashed town is in Puglia, the more traditional "heel" of Italy. Horace Walpole immortalised its mysterious fortress in his 1764 Gothic novel.
  • Delphi and the Corinth Canal, Greece... travel from Itea to the sacred site of Delphi. Ancient Greeks made pilgrimages here to consult with the resident priestess-prophet, the Pythia. Afterwards, traverse the Corinth Canal, which is just 21 metres wide.

Note: 30 June operates in reverse.

Ship details
MS Caledonian Sky is a luxurious, intimate ship owned by APT Touring. Having finished seasons in Fiji and Australia, it is returning to the Mediterranean for 2025.

There are just 110 passengers attended by 70 crew. This extremely high guest-to-crew ratio means great service is a guarantee. The ship is small enough to dock right in the heart of every port. You'll disembark quickly and visit off-the-beaten-path gems inaccessible by larger ships. There's lots of time to explore, as the ship can spend full days in port.

There are five decks with two restaurants (one indoors and one al fresco). Menus showcase local dishes from each port—a real treat in Italy. Complimentary drinks, including regional beer and wine, are served with meals.

Standard Suites are around 244 square feet—far more spacious than the industry average. Timber panelling, soft lighting, and brass fittings create a refined atmosphere. There are multiple portholes to flood the cabin with natural light. You'll also find a spacious sitting area.
