Itinerary
Begin your festive adventure with two nights in Singapore. Visit Buddhist temples, Michelin-starred street food stalls, and Arab bazaars. Be sure also to visit The Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel for a cocktail or two.

Then, board Norwegian Sun for 15 nights and call at:

• Koh Samui, Thailand... drop anchor at this palm-covered island in the Gulf of Siam. Soak up the sun along the sandy shores, or join an easy trek to waterfalls in the lush forest.
• Laem Chabang, Thailand... this seaport along the Gulf of Siam is the departure point to Bangkok. There you can visit golden temples, floating markets, and exquisite palaces.

• Coron Island, Philippines... the third largest in a cluster of islands, this stop is perfect for a tranquil break. See in the New Year on these beautiful far-flung shores. 
• Hong Kong... simply put, "there is no modern city more beautiful and exciting" (The Daily Telegraph). Discover incredible food, awesome shopping and nightlife, and traces of British influence.
• Keelung, Taiwan... your cruise will end in this port city in northern Taiwan. From here, you'll transfer to Taipei for your hotel stay.
• Taipei, Taiwan... with a 2-night stay in the Taiwanese capital, you have plenty of time for activities at your leisure. Visit the Longshan Temple, Dihua Street, or the National Palace Museum during your stay.

Ship details
Norwegian Sun is one of Norwegian Cruise Line's smaller ships. It carries around 1900 passengers at full capacity. Cruise Critic praises "a great overall experience with tons of dining and activity choices". No-fee dining includes the two main dining rooms, buffet, garden cafe, outdoor grill, and churrascaria. You can also order breakfast to your room free of charge.

Entertainment is fairly traditional, with a Broadway-style theatre, deck games, and live music. Come prepared for the cruise line's signature White Hot Party. Passengers don all-white outfits with glowing neon accessories.
