Itinerary highlights
Kick off the holiday with a 3-night stay in Rio de Janeiro. You'll tour the Christ the Redeemer statue at the peak of Mount Corcovado. Afterwards, visit the golden beaches, delicious restaurants, and samba shows.
Next, fly onward for a 3-night stay by Iguazú Falls. A visit is a "jaw-dropping, visceral experience", says Lonely Planet. You'll tour both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides during your stay.
Finish the land tour with a 2-night stay in Buenos Aires. You have a day to explore at your own pace. Make sure you pack in a tango show and an unforgettable steak dinner (supplements apply).
The next morning, embark on Celebrity Equinox and cruise to:
- Montevideo, Uruguay... a whirlwind of cobblestone streets, tango music, and great wine.
- Port Stanley, Falkland Islands... a combination of rugged, remote beauty and British heritage.
- Cape Horn, Chile... sail past the continent's southern tip, where the Pacific meets the Atlantic.
- Ushuaia, Argentina... famous as the "end of the world", it's the entry point to wild Patagonia.
- Strait of Magellan... admire glittering blue glaciers and look out for Magellanic penguins.
- Punta Arenas, Chile... a vibrant city surrounded by the Andes mountains and Patagonian steppe.
- Puerto Madryn, Argentina... penguins and elephant seals live near this vibrant coastal city.
- Punta Del Este, Uruguay... a large beach resort town that's great for relaxing in the sun.
You'll leave the ship in Buenos Aires and tour the city by coach en route to the airport.
Ship details
