About the show
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is the sequel to the seven novels by JK Rowling. The 2-part play is set 19 years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, when the eponymous wizard is now a Ministry of Magic employee, a husband, and a father to Albus Severus Potter, who is soon to enroll at Hogwarts.
The spellbinding production has won a number of awards during its relatively short stint so far in the West End. At the Olivier Awards in 2017 it broke records with 11 nominations and nine wins, including Best New Play and Best Director. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was written by Bafta-, Tony-, and Olivier-Award winner Jack Thorne, and directed by Olivier- and Tony-Award winner John Tiffany.
