About the deal
Forestry England manages the nation's forests and woodlands, to keep them thriving for future generations. They also supply the nation with the largest amount of sustainably-sourced timber. As well as continuously conserving the homes of thousands of plants and animals.
Forests are free to enter, but a number of sites require a fee for parking. With your membership, you can park at most* for free, and get straight to exploring. You'll also receive updates on how your membership money is supporting England's landscapes. Visit Whinlatter Forest in Cumbria, the UK's only mountain forest. Or head to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, for some top mountain bike trails.
Forestry England offer over 1800 miles of walking, running, and cycling trails. You can follow sensory walks, wellbeing trails, and more. Plus, there are play spaces, picnic spots, and installations and exhibitions in some forests.
Membership also includes a single visit to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum in Gloucestershire. It's home to 2500 different species from across the globe and five national tree collections. The arboretum plays a vital part in conservation. It shelters about 100 endangered tree species, including the ancient Wollemi Pine.
