Itinerary
- Oslo… learn about the Norwegian capital's history and its Norse heritage with a guided tour. Discover its rising food scene and popular spots like Frogner Park. You'll also see City Hall, the Royal Palace and the modern Opera House.
- Geilo... drive through pretty valleys to this popular mountain resort. Stop en route to see the 13th-century Reinli wooden church. Geilo is known for its adrenaline-fuelled activities and beautiful views.
- Bergen... admire Sognefjord and take a scenic train ride on the Flåm Railway. Pass rivers, flowing waterfalls, and towering peaks. Take a mini cruise through the UNESCO-listed Nӕrøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord. Take a city tour in Bergen, visiting the old Fish Market.
- Føyno... stop here on your way to Stavanger. Admire the Bømlafjord underwater tunnel, which connects the island of Føyno to the mainland.
- Stavanger... tour Gamle Stavanger district, a restored wooden old town, as well as the pretty harbour.
- Åseral... stay overnight in this pretty ski resort. It's known for its natural beauty, with pristine lakes and sprawling forests.
- Telemark Canal... this beautiful waterway set within a picturesque park is connected by 18 lock chambers. See the Vrangfoss lock facility, which has five chambers covering a vertical distance of 23 metres. In the afternoon, visit the impressive 13th-century wooden Heddal Church, with its imposing three towers.
- Oslo... you'll then return to Oslo for your flight home.
