The 5-star Taj Bentota Resort & Spa an impressive hotel in Sri Lanka's "endlessly exotic" Galle District—"the big unmissable destination in the south", according to Lonely Planet. The luxurious resort occupies a clifftop position overlooking Bentota Beach and boasts stunning views of the Indian Ocean.
An outdoor infinity pool with ocean views, loungers with bright orange cushions, tropical gardens with swaying palms, a restaurant, a spa with traditional and contemporary Indian treatments, and a gym are just some of the amenities. As well as three fine-dining restaurants, two bars, and a fitness centre, the resort features a thatched-roof seafood restaurant facing the sea, an ideal spot for sunset views.
You'll also find a range of activities including diving, windsurfing, cycling, beach volleyball, billiards, tennis, and badminton.
Superior Rooms measure 35 square metres, and have floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can always feel the calming sea breeze and sit amongst the tropical gardens.
