This deal includes free rail connections to London from any mainland UK station. The only condition is that you must be able to reach London St Pancras within a day. At London St Pancras, you'll cross to France onboard the Eurostar.

- Day one... the first day is a big one. You'll set out from home in the morning and finish up toasting the sunset in Lyon.

- Day three... kick back by Lake Geneva and visit the favourite haunts of Byron and the Shelleys.
- Day four... you'll leave Montreux with a reserved first-class seat on the scenic GoldenPass Express.
- Day five... you could take a day trip to Zermatt today. You'll see the view of the Matterhorn made famous on the Toblerone wrappers.
- Day six... visit the stunning Oberalp Pass (2033m), the highest point on the Glacier Express.
- Day seven... explore the winding streets of old Chur, a car-free area. Or, take the cableway to the serene Alpine plateau above the town.

- Day nine... relax under the palm trees in Lugano, capital of the Italian-speaking Ticino region.
- Day ten... chug back into France over the spectacular Gotthard Pass, then spend the night in Medieval Strasbourg.
- Day eleven... enjoy a morning coffee in Strasbourg, then settle into the scenic journey home.
