eecellently refurbished country house with spacious well decorated rooms and public rooms. Superb food. Overlooks the sea but a drive into Barwick and nearby attractions, most of which were closed for the season.

I booked the hotel as a surprise for my husbands 70th birthday. We arrived early and were advised when we were able to check in which was earlier than the check in time. We were shown to our room by a member of reception staff which was a lovely touch, the room was very clean and well presented. The hotel was lovely and beautifully decorated for the festive season. We ate in the restaurant the two nights we stayed and had plenty of choice. The food was lovely, well cooked and very well presented.

The surprise for my husbands birthday was made all the better by the staff at the hotel who went above and beyond to help me and our friends surprise my husband and have a brilliant time. The whole experience was well worth every penny and we will definitely be back.

While we had a lovely relaxing time there when I booked there was no info. On accessibility if like me I am not to steady on my feet. There was no lift due to the age of the building. There was many stairs to get up to our room. It would be helpful if travel zoo stated about accessibility. There was no rail even at the front entrance and my partner needed to walk me up them.

Our stay was only marred on the last night by 2 things. 1/. Despite having told the hotel that my wife is allergic to fish and seafood, they managed to serve a salad accompaniment to her main dish, which contained Anchovies. Fortunately my wife spotted this and it was replaced. 2/. Having finished our main course we waited for half an hour before anyone came to take our desert order. After waiting a further 15 minutes with no sign of it, we gave up and left the restaurant. Such a pity as it soured our whole experience of the hotel.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay from start to finish and only regret we hadn’t booked more nights for our time in the area! All the staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble, we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean & so was our room which had a lovely view across the fields, it was also great to be so close to the Coastal path. The food was exceptional and the restaurant & public rooms very pleasant. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel. Thanks again Travel Zoo for another wonderful experience!

The Marshall Meadows Manor House is a lovely hotel in it's own grounds. The views from the room where beautiful looking out to the coastline and countryside. The room was excellent, large in size and well fitted with high quality furnishings and decor. It had a lovely en-suite shower room. The staff were all professional, attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The evening meal was outstanding, and the breakfast selection and quality was brilliant too.

Both the hotel and its position overlooking the North Sea are attractive. Our room and the public areas are tastefully decorated, well maintained and clean. We loved the hotel, it had a great area for having drinks of an evening, not walkable to everywhere due to location which was fine for us but not for people who would like to go out for dinner etc, we stayed in one of the Meadow Suites (Pod) we enjoyed the big superking bed and the hot tub however the bathroom was extremely small and the shower was difficult to use for us being over 6ft tall. Even though we loved the idea of the Pod, we would probably stay in the main house next time if we returned. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection on the buffet, staff were friendly but seemed stressed and we waiting a long time for tea/coffee and toast to arrive.

It's a lovely manor house that's beautifully furnished and decorated. It's situated practically on the Scotland-England border close to spectacular cliffs beside the North Sea. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, clean and and - so unusual - actually had two easy chairs! Breakfast offered everything that could be desired. It's a great place to stay!
