The staff were all very friendly. The table was sticky - when we asked we were told that it had recently been painted. For the level of restaurant that Vaasu is, I would not expect that.

Lovely food as usual. They did seem slightly under staffed, one more on the team of waiting staff would have made a big difference to the amount of time we waited for our order to be taken.

I found the booking difficult this time (never a problem in the past). My calls were not returned when I left messages. When I did book I had to change my booking due to a late medical appointment and I was told I did not have a booking.
When we eventually went to the restaurant my instructions about gluten intolerance obviously had not been noted or passed on.
This has never happened before and we have eaten in Atul Kochhar restaurants many time s before.

Table position between the kit hen and toilet. Consequently it was noisy and we had people constantly walking around us. Added to this there was a large family with unruly children running around who could nt care less about other customers, despite being asked by the staff to be quiet and respect other guests. So no fault of the staff but think they should have been asked to leave. The kitchen cutlery was also located next to us which was constantly accessed by staff creating more noise.

Amazing food and perfect service. Everything was very fresh, great taste sensations and a Maitre D and Sommelier who helped us make our choices. Very informative. Good value offer, plus they do set menu lunches as well at a reasonable price. The place was full on an October Friday lunchtime. Book and go, you won’t regret it.

Overall, we enjoyed the meal, but found the main course a little disappointing as, apart from some very small cubes of cheese, was all chickpeas. Had it been a mix of chickpeas and vegetables, it would have been much more interesting.

Flavour of each dish was just lovely, spicy but not too hot - I think our favourite dish was the prawn main course! My only slightly negative comment is that the 5 course taster menu had quite a few extra supplement choices which was not mentioned on the original deal - we treated ourselves to several of course but our bill was obviously quite a bit more than the deal price.

We just love this restaurant.. The service is friendly. The food is beautiful. This time we had the 5 course tasting menu - this is not a criticism but a comment- we struggled to finish the chicken tikka masala but we managed it and still had room for chocolate bombe.
