Small niggles didn't spoil the experience. Biscuits in room but just 2 and very stale. Coffee machine in room but it didn't work.

Really enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful and very friendly.
Only thing that was a negative fir ys was the £40 charge for our well behaved small dog.
We thought we would have at least had some treats or a dog blanket for her. Fortunately we always take our own..

Dated. Service slow and quality of food okay but not exceptional - breakfast was very very poor! Parking is a long way away. Steep stairs to rooms.

Had a lovely stay, amazing quirky hotel. Beautifully clean. Staff very helpful tho not fluent in English it wasn't a problem. Food very good but the hot breakfast was like warm and my toast was soggy on my Eggs Florentine. Fantastic massage too. Would recommend.

Fab few days. Wonderful meal that was part of the deal. Room was a bit small but understood we would have had to pay extra for larger room.

Very well appointed. Very welcoming owner and staff. Disappointed that the fire in the lounge was unlit and unattended, and thus unwelcoming. Lost opportunity to interact with other guests. Raucous groups in the adjoining Ancient Mariner.
