The food would have been fine had it not been over microwaved and hence very dry and hard Staff didn't explain anything, we waited for someone to take a drink order whilst looking at the menu and only realised we had to order at the bar by reading it on the menu! 3 stars for service solely due the service which we had to ask of from one member of staff

A small bowl of vegetables would be a good addition to the main course- my friend had smoked haddock bubble and squeak but she felt it wasn't quite enough on it's own, otherwise the food was good

Somewhat disorganised to say the least. Rang several times to try and book a table for 4 adults without success. Voice message kept saying to walk in on the day - as it was a friends' Birthday lunch, I did not want to risk not getting a meal or suitable table for 4 people, having never been before! Only when I got through to Head Office of the Company was I able to speak to a member of staff at the Inn. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food o 28.11.24, Compliments to the Chef++. However we had to go to the bar to order drinks and meals instead of table service. My fault that I had not read inclusive 'filter' coffees after the meal so we were charged for a Latte and 2x Flat Whites, fair enough and no objection. BUT then they added 4 x teas to the bill that we didn't have but when questioned they said they had to do it to redeem my 2 vouchers. So confusing at the end of a lovely meal.
