The Grade II-listed property was originally built as two semi-detached houses. It is rumoured that Anne Boleyn once stayed here in 1535.
The traditional pub serves British classics, real ales, and craft beers. A beer garden and outdoor seating are available too.
Robinswood Hill, a hilltop country park, is 10 minutes' drive from the inn. There are several waymarked trails to explore, and a café.
Gloucester Cathedral is 15 minutes' drive away. Dating back 1300 years, the Romanesque church was a shooting location for "Harry Potter".
