Good hour and a half leisurely canal cruise. The 'skipper' was excellent. The food whilst not gourmet was very nice - variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, cake and a cream & jam scone washed down with plentiful tea/coffee and a glass of wine. All in all very good value for money

Boats are nothing special. If it is cold or wet you need to be on one with glass windows, if it is warm and sunny then the open air ones are better. The afternoon tea is prepacked but is quite acceptable containing the usual things you would expect and perhaps a little more. Wine, tea and coffee are available. Seating is a little cramped but comfortable enough for the time you are on the boat. The trip is about two miles up the canal then the boat turns round. Scenery is poor being mainly housing estates. Our man in charge was knowledgeable and talked about the area, people and the canal for most of the trip. Generally treated well.
