This was my second visit to The Lanesborough Grill and to be totally honest the food was so much better the last time. Also I think a set menu should have at least 3 options to choose from not two, this is very limited. The wines are also a ridiculous price and I’m sure they could put on some house wines for people who love fine dining without the budget. Service was impeccable and I loved the live jazz

We have visited the restaurant a number of times now for special occasions, and from the moment you walk into the Hotel reception you feel special and every single gesture made by the hotel staff makes it even more special.

The food was delicious, the chef came and talked to us. The service was second to none and the head waiter had a good sense of humour. The wine was lovely but mega expensive - we had the cheapest bottle on the menu (£65)! So we weren’t popular with the sommelier. All 3 courses were fantastic. The hotel was beautiful with massive chandeliers and comfortable seating.

When I booked I mentioned this and the booking staff took details asked for their names . On the day of the dinner , there was no mention of the birthday or any recognition. This was disappointing. But , apart from this everything else was great . Really recommend.
