Luxury London praises the "inventive dishes that showcase conversation-stopping flavours and creative flair". Dine on the set menu and get a beer or sparkling cocktail for £40 per person. "Warm welcome on arrival and taken through to our table. Staff attentive. We had vouchers for the tasting menu which included a cocktail or beer. The food was nicely presented and flavourful, offering a contemporary twist on Indian dishes. Don’t expect large dishes as being Michelin starred portion size is on the smaller side. Cocktail and beer included with the voucher were good but be prepared for a high bill for any replacement drinks. Overall a nice meal."

  • Executive chef Sameer Taneja re-joined the restaurant team in 2019. He earned back the restaurant's Michelin star in 2021, and has retained it since.

Whilst I appreciate it’s located in Mayfair and is 1 Michelin star, I did feel that the mark up on drinks menu in general is excessive eg very small beer £10, fruit juice £11 and most cocktails about £28 with bottles of wine under £100 for not particularly good wines. By the time the table cover and service charge is added it’s quite easy to rack up an additional £70-£100 for soft drinks or tea/ coffee. Nice to experience as ticking most of the Michelin restaurants off but probably wouldn’t go back

I bought this offer for my husband as he's always wanted to go. The food was delicious and the staff exemplary. The young lady that served us described all of the items on the menu as they are not your "normal" dishes. Each course arrived looking beautiful and each part of the dish was explained fully. My only word of caution is that the draft cobra was £10 for 1/2 a pint. Beautiful surroundings too. Will definitely be going back.

Brilliant from start to finish. Greeted nicely at the door. Attentive waiting staff. I recommend the pairing wines (the wine list is eye-watering). Sommelier obviously knew his stuff. Overall cannot fault.
