The Cumberland has a prime spot on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane. It's famously the former haunt of Jimi Hendrix. Plus, Diana Ross, Madonna, and Bob Dylan were also once regulars.
You'll be surrounded by iconic musical memorabilia. See David Bowie's "Relax" t-shirt and one of Paul McCartney's famous Beatles suits.
The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing. The West End, Oxford Street, Bond Street are all a short Tube-ride away. Or, you could reach them in less than 25 minutes' walk.
Voucher Cancellation & Refund Policy: Within 14 days of purchase, Travelzoo will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. Vouchers can be refunded online by going to "My Account". After 14 days, your voucher is non-refundable. If advanced reservations are required, changes and cancellations are subject to the merchant’s cancellation or rescheduling policy, and may result in a fee or voucher forfeiture. You must cancel your reservation directly with the merchant prior to refunding your voucher. Only guests who can prove they are 18 and above will be served alcohol. Merchant Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: If advanced reservations are required, you can still change your date or time directly with the merchant. Simply contact the merchant at least 24 hours prior to your original reservation. If you cancel or change your reservation in violation of the merchant's cancellation policy, you may be subject to additional fees or voucher forfeiture. The regular value stated above is based on the maximum combined cost of the items included in this experience at the time of publication (1 April, 2025). We had the most amazing time, the food was delicious, our glass was being topped up all the time by a very friendly member of staff, we loved the robot who delivered our desserts, it was a most enjoyable time.

A lovely venue, we booked a lunchtime bottomless brunch slot and there wasn't any live music which was a shame, but the food was good, staff were very attentive and kept the drinks topped up constantly, for the discounted Travel Zoo price it was a bargain! Would definitely visit again.

The only comment we would make is that is was not clear when booking that if one of the group wanted to upgrade to have cocktails then all of the group would have to upgrade. We understood the reasons why when explained by our waiter but would not have booked the experience had we understood this from the advertisement

It’s the third time I have been and really enjoyed the first 2 visits very much!
We were disappointed this time with the venue as they had the rugby on very loud and I really don’t think many people were impressed or watching it! We were all looking forward to the music as normal !
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and looked after us very well indeed.

My husband and I went to the Sound Cafe for bottomless brunch. My husband opted for the steak which was an additional £10 but kept saying it was the best steak he had had in a long while. I had the signature burger but after hearing my husband rave so much about the steak I wish had gone for that option too. Staff were really friendly and attentive and our glasses were never empty. We really enjoyed the brunch and hope to return

The booking process was easy using Open Table. It was also straightforward to modify once booked ( we needed to change our reserved time). Sound cafe is easy to find and is part of the Cumberland hotel. It was not overly busy when we arrived and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit. The choice of food was very good and the service excellent. Our drinks were replenished without having to ask.
