A superb lunchtime two course dinner plus coffee. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, some very unusual additions such as dragon fruit and absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable seats, with plenty of room and a roaring log fire.

The “waiting “ staff were excellent but I suspect felt awkward about delays.

The wait for food was totally unacceptable. 1.5hrs and still only had a starter. We were allowed credit up to £9 on starters and £24 for main course. However, the only starter for £9 was bread. Most of the main courses were above the £24 threshold . I’ve never experienced this increase on our previous visits and so was very disappointing. I still have no idea why food took so long - not acceptable I’m afraid.
