Disappointed about the hotel bar, a small fridge in the room to chill water or better still the night cap after getting back after 10pm

Would prefer larger bath towels !

Well placed for walking into the city and Minster. We stayed in the mews, which was good but we aren't very mobile, so not many stairs.
The room was clean and warm with a good sized shower.

Everything was lovely. The afternoon tea and we even stopped the Prosecco for a zero alcohol white wine (we don't drink). Breakfast and parking was also good considering the location. York is beautiful.
