Why We Love This Hotel
- Facilities at the hotel include a bar, a restaurant, and a fitness centre.
- The hotel is centrally located. The seafront, including the marina and Torquay Beach, is a few minutes' walk away. The high street is also close by.
- Torre Abbey, a Medieval monastery, houses an art gallery and museum of local history. It's around five minutes' drive from the hotel. Babbacombe, which is famed for its model village, is also around five minutes' drive away.
- Coastal walks with spectacular views are available on the South West Coast Path. The section from Torquay Marina to Babbacombe takes around two hours. It takes in rugged clifftop viewpoints and several secluded coves and beaches.
- Torquay is part of the English Riviera, known for its mild climate and palm-tree-lined seafronts. Paignton, known for its Victorian pier and sandy beach, is 10 minutes' drive. The pretty fishing village of Brixham with its working harbour is around 25 minutes away.

Celebrating our 55th anniversary. Local but wanting to spend our evening down on the seafront. Chose this hotel because we are always very happy with the hotel & service of Hampton by Hilton at Bristol airport we use regularly.
We were not disappointed. Great staff & welcome & beautiful, quiet room. Breakfast was high quality, hot & tasty.
The cost of our overnight stay was such good value. Will not hesitate to stay again or recommend

This was a very good value deal from Travelzoo, and enabled us to stay in Torquay before Christmas to experience their Bay of Lights trail, plus we travelled over to Paignton for the Train of Lights on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. The hotel is very well located for the town centre and sea front, and is new so everything is smart and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent with a good variety of hot and cold food.
Our room looked out on a quiet side road, and our only complaint was that it was immediately above the refuse store and it was bin collection day!
A minor point is that the £6 bar credit with Travelzoo isn't really a £6 credit - you can only spend it on a small glass of half wine, a pint of draught beer, or a house spirit, even though other drinks on the menu would have been within the £6 budget. Anyway, a good deal overall.
