"Booked a night at Saltmarshe Hall as a birthday treat for my partner. Never been to that part of Yorkshire, but the hall's location was perfect for us, as it was quietly situated deep in the countryside. The room we were booked into was lovely, but rater chilly, so they kindly upgraded us to a 1st floor suite with lovely views. Our 3-course meal was delicious and nicely presented. My partner was delighted with the whole experience."

  • The North Wing is situated at the front of the building. It consists of six Deluxe rooms: Skelton, Kilpin, Cotness, Reedness, Yokefleet, and Sandholme.
  • Saltmarshe Hall and its 17 acres of grounds are fronted by the River Ouse. The estate features riverside trials, extensive lawns, wooded areas, and walled gardens.

I booked this for my daughter's birthday so we could spend some time together. We arrived to the stunning grounds and took a picnic in them. There is a heated swimmimng pool where some families were making use of and it was very clean and pleasant around the pool area. The hotel itself was lovely. Room was extremely clean, staff were very friendly and the food was very good. There are some lovely spaces to si inside and outside and all are really beautifully kept. This is a hidden gem and I would defintely book this deal again. Highly recommended. Thank you.
