We are a couple in our 80's and steps to the rooms and the lack of a shower in our room was a disadvantage,

We had a fantastic stay at Hatton Court hotel. From the moment we arrived we was greeted by Claire who was very helpful. Went on to the restaurant for a cream tea and was served by Scarlett and her partner, Zac who were a lovely couple and couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. We had a lovely room and throughly enjoyed our stay. In the evening we ate in the restaurant and the food was great as were the breakfasts.

Good location for exploring the area. Warm welcome. Excellent food with attentive service. Lovely restaurant, bar & lounge areas. Nice out door seating on raised terrace, shame it overlooks the motorway but you can't have everything. Bedroom fine but bathroom was very tired & frankly a jaccuzi & shower arrangement is not good for 'the grey haired brigade' who are the normal clientel for Travel Zoo offers. Having said that we would return!

We enjoyed our stay at Hatton Court. The atmosphere is much more of a country house than a corporate hotel and the staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent, the room was comfortable with a lovely view and we enjoyed sitting by the log fire in the lounge.

Despite being a beautiful old property, it was lovely and warm throughout with fab log fires, which our dog loved. Also worth mentioning that their bedlinen was absolutely spotless which makes a welcome change from a lot of hotels.

Voucher covered superior or executive room. We booked 2 nights and stated on our email that we wanted a superior room. On arrival nothing was said about the room. We were allocated room 15. It was a disappointment. It was a double bed not a king size. The furniture was chipped an dated with the noisiest wardrobe doors I have ever come across. Went back to reception and questioned whether was a superior room and was told it was "one of our better rooms". Checked with the hotel website and it was a standard room. The mattress was very soft and most uncomfortable. The noise from the kitchen ventilation system was very loud from 6 in the morning until midnight. We had two really uncomfortable nights. The break was to celebrate our wedding anniversary so we were unhappy with our room.
The experience was saved by the excellent food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed our two night stay at Hatton Court. The main part of the hotel is welcoming and friendly with a comfortable seating area and a nice big log fire. We stayed in tithe annexe, sympathetically designed to match the older building. First impression was tainted by the old and very stained hallway carpets but.our executive room in the annexe was well appointed and comfortable. The sink tap was a bit quirky but we had lashings of hot water and slept soundly.
We ate in the Tara restaurant on our first evening at the hotel and the food was excellent. Portions generous and well presented. Breakfast menu was varied and well cooked. Wines and bar prices as expected for a hotel stay. We also enjoyed a cream tea before leaving on Sunday afternoon. Warm scones and plenty of jam and thick cream in front of the crackling log fire. All in all a very nice mini break - a warm sanctuary over a wet February weekend.

What made this, our first stay at the hotel, memorable, was the excellent staff. Every one of them was friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in their visitors. Exemplary service on all fronts. They are a credit to the hotel.

The staff at this hotel were great. I liked the food and the service. I just felt the rooms were very dated and in need of some cosmetic improvements. There was mould around the window sills in the room. The carpets were a bit worn. It just needs an update.
In the bathroom the lead on the glass was bent all over the place. The bathroom looked like it was from a hospital. It didn't feel very nice. The taps had missing tops. The finish on the bath and surround was very unattractive.

4th visit to this hotel.
The main part of the hotel is a stunning Cotswolds building and there is a newer block containing further bedrooms to the rear.
The hotel is perfectly situated with fantastic views over Gloucestershire.
Our room was large and spacious and very comfortable just looking a little bit tired perhaps but still excellent value for money and spotlessly clean.
The team at Hatton Court are always so friendly and accommodating and really can’t do enough for you.
All of the food we had was absolutely excellent.
Our cream tea on arrival consisted of two scones each and tea or coffee of your choice which was replenished if required.
Our main meals were all beautifully presented and very flavoursome.
Breakfast this morning was equally if a high quality and with plenty of choice.
We would definitely return and can recommend highly.

We stayed for two nights (Friday and Saturday) and from the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was warm and cosy with a dual aspect, jacuzzi bath, king sized bed- perfect!
We ate in The Tara restaurant on both nights of our stay and the food was wonderful- we had the sirloin steak and lamb burger one night and the sea bass and chicken supreme on the next- all the food was served piping hot and was delicious, as was the Australian Shiraz.
Breakfast was outstanding- we have never seen so much choice on a menu and each morning it was difficult to choose.
The weekend was such good value; a welcome drink on arrival, £25 per person dining credit (main meals ranged from £15 upwards) a yummy afternoon tea, with two scones per person, one plain, one fruit with jam and clotted cream.
All for £219 per couple for two nights bed and breakfast- amazing value and a perfect break away in January, wouldn’t hesitate in returning or recommending. A big thank you to Sam and Jackie, for making us feel so at home.

Only negative was the heat in the restaurant, it really was quite uncomfortable and the bar area was chilly. But apart from that- wonderful! Thank you

We were a little apprehensive after reading some negative reviews but no need to worry, the hotel was a lovely building in a nice setting with clean and tidy driveway and garden area and beautiful inside.
The staff were very friendly and helpful but very professional too.
We had our two dogs with us and fully expected a lower standard room which often happens but we were in a very nice room, warm and comfortable.
The bathroom was dated as people had said but it was clean and warm with plenty of hot water so no complaints from us.
We ran holiday let for 15 years and I am a clean freak so will not return to many places but Hatton Court was above expectations and we would definitely return .
The food in the restaurant was of a high standard with plenty to choose from and the breakfast menu is one of the best I’ve ever seen! Thank you all for a lovely stay
