Hotel details
Breckland Lodge has a beamed bar and cosy main restaurant. Food is served every day 12–2pm and 6–9pm, and all day on Sunday. An à la carte menu is available as well as a daily carvery.
Double Rooms (Internal Facing) have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Standard Double Rooms are an extra £10 per night. Superior Rooms, with a king-size bed and air conditioning, are an extra £20 per night.
About the area
Thetford Forest, which offers numerous walking trails and visitor sites, is 15 minutes' drive away. There are well-being and walking routes, and a picnic area, at Lynford Stag. Or, you could take on the cycling trails at High Lodge.
The cathedral city of Norwich is around 30 minutes' drive. Explore the Medieval cathedral and its tranquil close, or the hilltop castle. It houses various exhibition, art, and history galleries.
The Broads, a network of waterways in peaceful countryside, is around 30 minutes' drive. Wroxham is a great base for a day on the water. Day boats are available to hire year-round, and cruises resume from the end of March.
